What should I do since I've already been mailed them?

Should I just spend the extra 20 bucks to have them re-done on my own at kinkos?

I did not order them, the company did.

I don't think they would miss putting a job title if they didn't mean it, would they?

Yes. Client's need to know what your position is. You'd be surprised but a lot of times people your working with don't know your exact title until they get a card.

Besides the more important thing here is a business card is something they are going to have with them even when your not around to sweet talk them. Is that the impression you want to make? That you lack attention to detail or don't know what a proper business card is supposed to look like. It will make you seem amateurish.

You don't want people walking away with evidence that you don't know what your doing or are too lazy to correct a mistake.

If your own company had them made up ask them to redo them and explain why. If you work in a conservative field like corporate, law or finanace, I'm sure they will understand. I can't imagine that your company wouldn't think it's important. Explain that you don't want to start off giving the wrong impression. Some small companies or more laid back ones might not feel it is important but big business is not so forgiving.

Did you order them without the job title, or did they print them wrong? If it is a printer's mistake, send them back and make them reprint. Otherwise, you are going to have to get new cards made. Clients may not remember who you are/why they made contacts with you, without knowing your job title.

Well, if I'm a client, I already know what you do, so that's fine. However, if you are handing the cards out for networking purposes, you probably should have a job title, if it's not obvious what you do.

I think so. You need to have your title.
