My boyfriend is a Rangers fan, i bought him tickets to a game in Jan , rangers vs bruins, the seats are on the side where the bruins goal is & near the goal section is that any good? Its part of his Christmas present.

I love MSG, not really a bad seat in the house. As long as the seats aren't last row, they should be fine.
However, I've watched several games from the last row at MSG, and they are among the best nosebleed seats in the NHL.

Tickets are terrific, no matter where they are, if he is a Rangers fan, he would love it even if they were nose bleed. Besides if he is unhappy, there is always plenty of beer served until the third period, hmmm Hockey and Beer, what more could a guy ask for? He is definitely loved.
Oh and to all the Islander fans, just wanted to let you know I have a bumper sticker that reads "This is Islander Country"; yea it's stuck in the toilet in my basement.

I think your BF will just be excited to be at a Rangers game. Hopefully by January they will be doing better and the game will be fun for both of you to watch. BTW...the Rangers will switch sides after the first intermission so you will be behind the Rangers goalie at some point in the game. HAVE FUN!

My sympathies that your boyfriend is a Rangers fan, especially after the Islanders spanked them last night. Any seats to a hockey game is a good present, even if they are Ranger tickets.

MSG, The World's Most Famous Arena!! 18,200 seats. All of which I would sit in to see a game. In fact I would sit on the scoreboard.

Sure thing. You'll get to see the Ranger offense coming at you in the 1st and 3rd periods.
Hopefully, the Rangers will have mustered some offensive capability by the time you see them in 2 months.

Any tickets to a game in the Garden should be fine. If he is a good boyfriend, he will appreciate it. If not, kick him to the curb.
