I bought a t.v. on craigslist that was listed as brand new never open factory sealed.
Anyhow, I paid $1200 cash for it, and hauled it home. I didn't open it because it did look new, and it was sealed so I didn't want to pull it out of the box and put it back together again, because it was a pretty large t.v.
Well, I drove it home, plugged it in and it won't turn on!! I called the guy back, and he told me that the t.v was being sold "as is," and now he won't give me my money back. I drove back to his house, and he doesn't open the door for me anymore. what can I do?? Is this considered scamming me? Can I take him to court, or file a police report or something??? Please help, I'm very desperate!!!

My last menstral was last month on the 16th. I have been starting to have breast tenderness since the end of last month and i have been having slight cramping. Could this be signs of my period this early? I've never had symptoms this early but its been an on and off again thing since the end of October? I'm trying to find a great title for my english paper. I am comparing two great books and would like to stay away from the A vs. B type of title.

They call it "The War on Drugs". Lou Dobbs (CNN) calls it the "Culture War" with this flood of illegal immigration into the U.S., stressing our society, hospitals, schools, tax dollars, and allowing so much infiltration of crime to take hold. If you've never lived in this area and haven't seen it for yourself and how the drug lords and even corrupt Mexican military are escalating with so many guns and armored vehicles, don't say this isn't a war and that's just an over-used word. Soldiers returning from active duty overseas will report what they have seen happen to countries over-run by illegals from neighboring territories, and how the active mining of borderlands is common practice. Some suggest we do the same within the immediate area of the border fence being built with Mexico. Do you think that would be an effective deterrant to help stop this flood which has yet to be dammed? Or would that be so cruel as to be un-American/inhumane? Maybe you don't think this is a real war?
