HAVING YOUR CAR KEYED IS CONSIDERED VANDALISM, WHICH FALLS UNDER THE COMPREHENSIVE PART OF YOUR POLICY. IF YOUR COMPANY PAYS MONEY TO FIX YOUR CAR IT CANNOT MAKE YOUR INSURANCE GO UP. UNLESS YOU SWITCH COMPANIES, WHICH AT THAT TIME A COMP. CLAIM CAN AFFECT THE RATING TIER YOU ARE PUT IN. THIS WOULD RESULT IN A HIGHER RATE.

If you have a deductible, and the cost of repairs is less than it, you will not be filing a claim. All comes down to how much they have to pay out and any other claims you have made.
