I's a single mother of two. I work 45mins away, I do 40 week. I have 2 1/2 hours with my kids in the week to make dinner, do homework, bath them and put them to bed by 8.
Then it's time to pick up the house, do dishes, maybe watch a little TV before I go to bed.
The weekends consist of entertaining the kids and the weekends I don't have the kids it's time to mow the yard, do laundry, grocery shopping.........etc
I want to date, go to school, workout at the gym, have grownup fun (don't be dirty).........
How do people do this on a regular basis and still smile?
I have no family in the US, I don't have time for friends or a life.
I know what I'm doing is important to my children and I love them very much, is it too much to ask for a little somthing pf my own, for me once in a while?

Besides my son, I am not happy with my life. I just left his father, who was emotionally, and physically abusive and I moved back home with mom. I work at a job I hate, but I have good benifits, so I stick with it. I don't know what to go to school for because I don't like anything, or anybody at this point so I am just a fixture at the university. I am talking to a guy who is 2 hours away and wants me and my child to move in with him. My son has autisim. I don't know if I put enough faith into God because sometimes I feel alone. I don't have friends I can talk to because I end up hearing about their problems. I pray, pray, pray and pray, coming up with no answers. I am confused, tired, and emotional. I also am looking for a job, my present one makes me want to vomit. I would continue on, but if I do someone may recommend Dr Phil Lol. I just don't know who to go to with any problm at this point. Everyone's input will be appreciated

I visit a 94 year old English widow once, twice a week. She's legally blind and almost stone deaf. Nonetheless, this does not stand in her way: she has her own apartment which she maintains without help, cooks, watches TV (with difficulty), listens to letters which I've read into her tape recorder, then writes and answers them in a flourishing but crooked manner. She quilts, puts down preserves, is an amazing Scrabble player, goes on bus tours and last but not least, is a member of a walking club. I hate that woman for two reasons: she makes me feel inactive & lazy and secondly, she can beat me in Scrabble, one of my favourite games. Seriously, she is a fantastic inspiration for me and others who sometimes become incapacitated out of boredom. Is there anyone in your life like this feisty old dame?

If I was sexually abused by my mother and the police didn't believe me. And returned me home several times after running away. Then I ended up in prison for a few years for trying to murder her. Then I run into my prosecutor at a Church. How can I move forward when I've got this conviction to remind me that my mom sexually abused me? It wasn't anything physical. It was showing me porn, ripping off my clothes so she could force me into nude photos, saying that she owned my body and could look at it anytime she wanted because she gave birth to it, tapping my but sexually when I was an older teen. I was held in a juvy for 2 years where I was beaten up verbally by the staff everyday for trying to kill her.

Finaly is it worth it to buy the lexar 4gb lightning for 60 bucks to use just for the extra boost? and can you use flash drives to increase the amout of video Ram? i have a compaq pesario f500 (spelling??) with 1g of ram, 1.7 amd x2 prosesor and a 120gb hdd with a navida graphics card up to 300mb video ram or so, its a strange number around 300. but yea let me know what you guys can :)

When I hear people say "I did an excellent job on such project" or "I am the best cook (for example)", I feel awkward, because I never imaagine praising myself like this. But do you think the same, or do these people market themselves better after all?

Aren't thumbs up, or down sufficient enough to show your disagreement, or dislike of another user's answer? If you give a thumbs down, the answer you don't like is automatically hidden, so one doesn't have to see it, unless they wish to by clicking "show".
Isn't it abuse by reporters of a question, or answer, if they're merely reporting it to hurt an asker, or answerer?
Even more so, isn't it abuse by YA to remove a question or answer just because it was reported, WITHOUT having investigted the report FIRST?

I ask this in Politics, since most of you will understand the reasoning in asking this.

What say you all?

I have the life application king james version study bible. I was looking into this Spirit-Filled Bible (NKJV) by Nelson. I also heard it's good to have a parallel Bible with the amplified version in it.
