A guy I once knew who had a thing for me repeated this line, and said it was written by a Scottish Poet.

But he's long gone now, and I cannot find the poem anywhere.

I believe that quote came from an artist who was famous for painting nudes. The human female is thought to have the shape of an open ended curve, whereas, males are not thought to have any curves at all. The open ended curve is a symbol for enternity. The artist may have been Raphael.

"Sexual Force or the Winged Dragon," O. M. Aivanhov, may be of interest.

The male body is 60% initiatory, 40% receptive, fulfilling, personal. The female body is 60% receptive, fulfilling, personal, 40% initiatory.

Properly the female curve moves upward, completely the male blueprint in the relationship.

If the masculine thrust is not of the Father-Mother God, Good, but of some lesser love, or/and if the female completion of the blueprint is distorting toward personalist self-ishness, the God-design goes awry.

cordially,

j.

p.s. A good example of something beyond "mere" male-female sexuality is given in Martha Beck's "Expecting Adam."

"Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton, and "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, have some good information on this general topic of what Saint Paul termed the "body temple."

I would have to change the last word to that of "Beauty." Somehow it doesn't really make sense to say its "eternity." Its a thing of beauty, wonderment and reverence.

Wow, that is a GREAT opinion of women!

I always say that when God created woman, he did not create anything else because he had achieved perfection with woman.
