I am already in the USA, my Canadian passport just expired. Now I want to go home, back to Canada by plane. Would they let me?

I know, the law has changed just recently, that's why I worry so much!

With some photo ids, you can get back in. However, don't be surprised if you miss your flight as they may become suspicious and interrogate you for several hours. If you have time, try to get a valid passport before your trip.

Not sure of the specifics from Canada, but I believe if you're a Canadian citizen, you would be allowed back in. I would check to see if the US will let you in to start with, with a passport that's about to expire, though.

No. If you are flying you will not be able to board the plane without a valid passport.

If you are going by land or sea, you don't need one yet as long as you have a drivers license and birth certificate.
