I wash my face normally twice a day with a regular soap (Lever to be exact). It leaves my skin really smooth, but I don't use cleansers, toners and stuff like that. Are there any long-term side effects of using soap on your face? Like early wrinkles etc.

I am running Windows XP. Everytime I restart my computer the system requires that I go through an error-checking of my primary hard drive. I ran the error check on the system and it found nothing. Then next time I start up the computer again, it requires the error check again.

On a related note, the system refuses to accept a keystroke from my USB keyboard. I now have to keep an old PS/2 style keyboard to abort the error checks.

Any thoughts on what I can do?

I left Europe and came to America for School(Wich is wors then the one back home by the way) and for a better life, and I was surprised to find out that actually it's worst then Europe.I am only 21 years old and I still have time to go back.But what about the people that don't have this advantage? I often see 2 extremes of parents. The first I dub the "helicopter parent". They maintain absolute control over their kids. They must know what they are doing, where they are, and who they are with 24/7. They impose a dictatorship and never try to empathize with their kid. It is like a Stalinist Russia inside their house.

Then, you have the other kind. The kind that doesn't care if their kid isn't home for several days. They don't care if their kid does whatever. They just don't care. This is sort of like The Netherlands. No laws or rules.

Why can't there be a balance? A parent who cares and maintains order but allows a decent amount of resonable freedom? Parents do you strike a balance?

I have had my phone for about 3-4 months and i asked my parents for texting. They said no so I asked a month later and again they said no but I said that i would pay for it on my own and i would pay for any over charges but again they say no. The said i have been very responsible with my phone and hows i use it. They said that they would look at textig in about 6 months again. Is there any way i can change there mind on this? My kittens (4 mos) have both gotten fleas somehow. We have ordered advantage but it won't be here for a week. We've tried flea killing carpet powder but i don't think it's working. We're putting baking soda down on the carpet now...will that do anything , obviously we will be vacuuming it up. Is there anything we can use for carpet/furniture that is not a flea bomb..we live in apartment up at school so we can't really take them out for a day or whatever. Please help! Thank you!!

like a friend of mine(girl) thats also the girls friend gives me info and talks good about me to her etc. Is that a good strategy, to get a girl to go out with me?
