Many people make exceptions. Just explain that youll be turning 15 very soon. No biggie.

In the State of New York, you can get working papers at 14. Check with your jurisdiction... or you could work off the books.

I don't know people don't like to hire teenagers. It be hard to get a job on the books. Your best bet is if you can try to get a job off the books.
