Think back to the first time you heard the songs that mean so much to you now. Did they sound the same as they do now that they've become part of your regular playlist?

Personally I never hear a song the same way after I've listened to it quite a few times and become accustomed to it. For example, the first time I heard the song "Anarchy In The U.K." it wasn't automatically my favorite song, but something about it sounded special. And I listened to it a few times in the next few months and eventually bgan to love it. And now that it's another favorite in my library it almost sounds like a different song, I only occasionally get flashes of remembering that first fateful listening. I think it had to do with what I was expecting, how I was listening to it. I often wish I could go back to the first time I heard that and many other favorite punk songs and hear it for the first time again. Even though I didn't appreciate them as much there was something very intriguing about them.

My boyfriend and I have talked about marriage, and having kids and we've decided to wait because we're both still in college, and having to work all the time just to make ends meet. It would be totally selfish to have children right now we both know that, and we decided to wait until after school for marriage just because it's the smart thing to do.

The issue is very time someone invites me to a wedding, I hear of someone else getting married, or having a baby... my heart sinks a little bit.


The question is this.

I can deal with this sinking feeling. My boyfriend can not. He feels like he is failing me somehow by not dropping on his knee and proposing, or by giving me a child. Neither is the case. I know we aren't ready. I've told him myself we need to wait it's fine. But he can read me well enough to know it bothers me. How do I put his mind at ease, as well as keep myself from feeling like I'm missing something?

In order to receive credit we MUST use calculus techniques:

We have a piece of wire that is 100cm long and we're going to cut it into two pieces. One piece will be bent into a square and the other will be bent into a circle. Determine where the wire should be cut so that the enclosed areas will be at maximum. Note that it is possible to have the whole piece of wire go either to the square or to the circle

there is this guy that i like but idk if he likes me back because we talk everyday and we always say goodnight to each other but he says goodnight beautiful to me a couple times in a row like day after day, and i will reply goodnight handsome. My mom read my diary, and i had some things in there i didnt want anyone to know about.
Im dating one of my friends cuzins, hes in grade 12 and im
in grade 9, when im with him I tottaly forget about the age difference, but i wrote in my diary that i'm starting to actually LOVE this guy. I have a problem im with capital one they credited money to my account 100+ dollars i spent all but fifty dollars of it they took the money back this week i made some purchases that cleared but since they took the money they say the purchases overdrew my account and i owe -118 dollars can they legally do that since the money was there when i spent it

I became vegetarian about 8 months ago, and I've been pretty depressed thinking I was giving up all the foods I've always loved. I've been giving a lot of thought to going back to eating meat. It was on my mind so much that I figured the only thing I could do is try to go back. I tried fish and chips. I tried sweet and sour chicken- 2 things I used to love, and they both tasted disgusting. I don't like meat anymore. How can I eat meat for 34 years, stop for 8 months and all of a sudden not like it?
Has this been the case for other vegetarians who have tried to go back to meat?
