I live in an apartment that has no outdoor space at all (no balcony). However, it has large floor-to-ceiling windows. I am on the 27th floor, with an absolutely unobstructed view. Can a satellite dish receive signal through a plate glass window?

I have a 17 year old cat who lately has been staying up all night, crying, getting in the windows, being a general nuisance. We had her fixed 14 years ago, but I SWEAR the crying sounds like she's in heat. Any ideas?

This answer is not a pertinent one.
Yahoo is a social affair.
it is not a private company.
when u r encroaching on the mental attitude of
youngsters don't you know that you are going against
the law of good.u r not respecting the views of others,

if something is bad - it is bad.
Though we are not doing anything good for the society
is it not onus on us to see that something bad does
not emanate so as to spoil the small flowers -
teenagers and kids.

umpteen answers can come.
there are umpteen reasons for a failure.
but, there is only one reason for being good.
the eternal soul within us - our conscience is the
real person we cannot hide.
in this world money has become the priority.
for the sake of money people behave bad.
if we can understand God we can understand this also.
anyway , God is watching.
that is all.

'Pereunt et Imputantur'

Roughly translated, 'The days pass and our reckoned to our account,'

I try to live by this, and interpret it as meaning that every day you live defines who you are, that you must live life as if each day is your last, and we may one day b eheld accountable for our actions, either by your peers or some Godly being (alter as you wish).

Cheers!

little johnnys neighbour had a baby.
But he was born without any ears.
Johnny and his mum and dad went to visit the baby, and johnny was warned not to mention its ears or he would get a spanking.
Johnny looked in the cot and said What a lovely baby. Lovely feet, hands, and skin. Hows his eyesight?
The babys mother said it was perfect.
Thats great, cos he`d be ****** if he needed glasses!!

I'm not just talking about the crazy people. :P

But the kind of mind manipulation that goes on.

Have you ever asked a question a certain way, so you could get a certain kind of response? Ever feel more obligated to answer a question condemning your faith? Or, have you noticed how after staying a while in R+S can alter your view of "the other side"? i.e. How Christians see atheists, and vice versa.

I like to try and leave my questions open to interpretation. I'm not really here to get answers, I'm here because I like to see how you guys think :)

Thank you in advance for your answrs and feel free to give more examples if you can think of any

Should i just move on and stop thinking about him are should i keep trying and hope...
Okay okay well i have known this Guy for a long time now like 5 years now. and hes my best friend and also good friends with my brother. he always came over my house for no reason. sometimes even when my brother wasn't home. he would say idc if your bro not home i just wanna hang out. he use to sometimes buys me ice cream for no reason too. he is really nice to my parents especially my mom he would always give her his arm to walk and open her door and just be nice. he also invites me out to eat or to go out places like to watch a movie or out to eat, things like that. i always thought its was normal and thats how you treat friends.Yet i had always had a thing for him since i met him. But i never told him. because well at first it was just a crush so i said i want to get to know him better before i tell him i like him. and then i got to know him better and he became my best friend. so then i didn’t want to tell him because i didnt want to ruin the friendship. so i never told him but i still liked him. Then after graduation he told me he was moving to another state. so i tried to get closer to him make it more obvious that i liked him. He would play back and all too. And all my friends thought he liked me too. So i took the chance and the day before he moved and I TOLD HIM.: “i always had liked him more than a friend and thought he should know that before he left”. He said "im Flattered" which i thought okay well i guess thats a nice way to say i dont see you that why. so i left it at that. We still talk maybe once a month. i dont really bring up my feelings again. but i cant help thinking about him everyday. i cant help wishing to be with him. even when i had my boyfriend i still didnt like him as much as i liked my friend.

I am four weeks five days pregnant and my husband and I had an argument yesterday over something really stupid . Then this morning I didn't log out of my yahoo account wehn I cut the computer off so when he cut it on the question I asked yesterday came up and he read it and told me and that really made me mad. After reading the question he suggested we go to counseling and that I never say I’m sorry and I don't agree. I really feel numb and sad and I’m wondering if this will affect the baby should I just go around smiling all the time to have a happy baby especially since I am so early. I always believed that you can control your emotions but does being pregnant really mean you have no control? For some reason I can't get over the argument and I'm finding it hard to move on with my day.
