'Pereunt et Imputantur'

Roughly translated, 'The days pass and our reckoned to our account,'

I try to live by this, and interpret it as meaning that every day you live defines who you are, that you must live life as if each day is your last, and we may one day b eheld accountable for our actions, either by your peers or some Godly being (alter as you wish).

Cheers!

Perhaps 'living each day as if it's your last,' isn't exactly what I mean. It's ahrd to explain, but I suppose living your life without fear would be adequate?

The Bible affirms that in a number of places. For example "I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken." mt 12:36

I agree that each day is important however I am dubious about saying that one should live each day as if it one's last. As I feel for some it leads to impulsiveness and not caring for consequences. The nearer to death we are the better we ought to be as indeed we will be held accountable for our actions to The Gods and ignorance is no excuse. Time is important must be used wisely.

Yeah I suppose I do believe in that: I believe we are accountable to God for our actions- and the only way we are going to be aquitted from the punishment we deserve for our constant breaking of his Law is if we trust in Christ and his death on our behalf.

It's not really practical though, is it?
That's why I never have any clean laundry.
Cause like who wants to do laundry on their last day?
