I was married to my ex-wife for 14 years, and she never said she was sorry for anything either. Like you, she disagreed with that statement as well. Sure she said the words " Fine, I'm sorry!" after I persisted, but it was never a genuine apology. She was always able to justify the things she said and did, and therefore there was no need to feel sorry --- even if her actions hurt me.
I said all of that to say this --- don't be like her. Work things out with your husband, and go to counseling if necessary. How can you possibly be happy? Nothing has been resolved! You've offended your husband, argued with him, and then refused to apologize? You're acting like you are the only one who has the right to be angry. His feelings are just as valid as yours.

Pregnancy messes with your hormones, which will mess with your emotions. You have control to some degree (over your reactions) but not necessarily how you feel. Many pregnant women get upset easily (sad or angry) because of the changes inside (and outside) their body.
I don't think counseling is needed now, unless your moods continue after the child is born. Tell your husband moodiness is normal for pregnant women, and apologize if you say or do things that aren't the usual you...it's hard for guys to understand sometimes, what happens in women's bodies and minds.

Going around smiling all the time isn't fooling yourself is it? So it isn't fooling your hormones or the baby.
I had plenty of stress during my pregnancy with my son. I was in a car accident during my first trimester, and then my father found out he had cancer. He died when I was 5 1/2 months along. My son came out healthy and normal. He's a healthy 5 year old now.
You are angry and you should express it. Not hold it in. Counseling, also, may be a good thing for the two of you. try it, you may find it is just the outlet you need.

when I was pregnant I didn't have the best relationship at the time and I was upset and angry a lot but that can affect the baby but not very much just try to stay calm and take suggestions from your husband maybe counseling would be a good idea if you feel it necessary

First off, your first trimester is really critical. AVOID STRESS!!! My sister was 3 weeks pregnant, unhappy, stressed out, angry, etc., and she had a miscarriage. Be careful, and please try to control your anger and stress level. Tell your nosey husband that he needs to simmer down with the bs, cause you don't need any added stress.
Second, you CAN'T control your emotions, but you can control your actions and your responses to those emotions. Again, your nosey husband needs to not make you angry, and he should be catering to you now. I know; you're pregnant, not cripple. I hated for people to tell me over and over again to not lift things, or to not be angry and stressed out when I was pregnant, but after what happened to my sister, I'm glad they told me every day.
And yes, people, I know that miscarriages happen even when you do everything they tell you to do, but the added stress does not help.

Relax, don't let it get to you. Your husband probably got offended finding out that you are having problems and you did not consult him but went to the world for answers. Just tell him that you were looking for some opinions before asking him.

It's called a Hormonal imbalence, your baby effects you more than the other way round.
Best of luck with it all though & def go for Councilling if your hubby thinks it'd help, even if just for his sake, but go with an open mind.
