I've heard of being a deist, or secular theist, but that was odd.

I think loads of people do. Maybe they don't go around saying it, or perhaps they haven't thought it through. When polled, the majority say they believe in God. To me, there is a large variance in the definition of the word 'believe'. To me, to 'believe' means more than paying mental assent to a concept or idea. The word 'believe' is composed of two root words: 'be' and 'live'. One should walk their talk and not just say they agree if they aren't willing to live it. That's only me speaking, but my point is that I think MANY people say they believe in God and do nothing about it.

i'm an atheist because i don't have self assurance in gods. What would data of a god no longer cutting-edge seem as if? would it not perhaps seem as if: easily no data that they do? The universe giving each and every indication of being a organic prevalence? Prayers no longer being responded and genuine believers starving to lack of life? disease, parasites which feed on human eyeballs cutting-edge? diverse cultures having diverse gods which percentage their values really than an analogous god being chanced on by technique of folk everywhere as takes position with issues which do exist? lots of the worlds species having lengthy previous extinct? Asteroids, organic disaster, extreme drought, famine, flood hitting earth and destroying existence? human beings having advanced from different existence varieties which no god ever has reported? No god ever understanding issues the persons did not understand and getting a lot of stuff incorrect? some gods being witnessed being invented - see shipment cults?

No.
If they say they do they have obviously misunderstood the concept of the Judeo-Christan God.
I don't think you can believe in a metaphysical, all-powerful, all-knowing and benevolent being, and not care.

I am not sure that their question was entirely seriously. I suppose that is possible but is illogical at the same time. There little point having beliefs but them not affecting your life.
Perhaps willfully ignorant would be fitting.

Yes, I'm sure you know some Christians that go to church call themselves Christians and don't care what they do outside the church.
