If electron has momentum p, then
its waveleghth is λ=h/p,
and its frequency is f = E/h.

The velocity of de Broglie wave is
u = λf = h/p E/h = E/p = 1/2 p²/m /p = 1/2 p/m.

Should not velocity of electron be v = p/m?

I hate it that no one called that guy out on his B.S. yesterday on the View. that had to be the worst episode ever. Some psychic was on the show yesterday promoting himself of course and he said he would even do a demonstration, so rather than having audience members raise their hands and tell them their future he got up right away (in about 2 seconds) and just pointed out a specific woman in the backrow as if it wasn't obvious he paid some people to be apart of that audience and act like he was right. So he started telling them a bunch of stuff and of course the woman acted like he right. The worst part was when two ladies said he might have something from there lives, and he was like 'oh no, no! It is someone else' and he pointed out the different person. Barbara asked him do u have anything from any of our future, referring to her and the cohost, and of course he says no in two seconds and brushes that question off. WOW

We all know the saying, "Knowledge is power." And I'm sure most of us will agree that is VERY true statment! But can knowing too much, be a curse of all that knowledge you obtain?

(Whether it be about the people you know and don't know. The society you live in. Or just really digging deep into human nature)

Because after all, the more you know, is the more you know. . . Take that for what you will.

So knowledge is power, but can it be a curse?

I recently switched from the combo pack of pills to the mini pills, when I was reading all the info it comes with is says in big black bold print DO NOT TAKE THE 7 INACTIVE PILLS IN THE COMBO PACK BEFORE SWITCHING TO THE MINI PILL.

In fact, following the 3.8 percent growth rate for the second quarter, the U.S. economy has posted its strongest quarterly growth in four years. The economy actually appears to be speeding up, following the relatively sluggish performance of the prior 18 months.
On top of this, the inflation rate is actually slowing down. The consumer spending deflator is reading 2.1 percent for the past year, compared to over 3 percent six quarters ago. The core inflation rate is down to 1.9 percent, below the Fed's 2 percent target.

The other day this was posted on here as NikksAngels qeustion....Little did she know that i had answered her qeustion, she found out and gave me ten points fer best answer. (Ok i have/had a girlfriend and my parents think im straight again. cuz i've dated a couple of boys well my gf moved away to ohio and i live in Pa. she hasnt called or contacted me within like a month and a half. My best friend's husband is coming home from his tour in Iraq in 3 weeks. He asked for a home cooked meal, beer, and lots of sex. She wants to do something else, too. They have a 6 month old so they can't just do anything plus they're roommates of their house are coming back from Iraq to at the same time. Does anyone have any suggestions of what she can do? so I'm completely against animal cruelty, animal testing and hunting, but i eat meat and find nothing wrong with it. i believe that human bodies aren't meant to not eat meat, but thats just me. i don't eat meat of wild animals (except fish, but i am Japanese so it is kinda part of my heritage), i only eat meat of domesticated animals (like cow, not cats or dogs). so is this hypocritical, or is it normal? PLEASE no Jackass answers. Thanks!!

iam thinking of getting this 1999 toyota solara sle for $5000, from a private party he wanted more but we nagociated to $5000. The car still has 18 months of warenty left on it, it also has 117,000 miles, quiet a bit but for a toyota i think its nothing. 98% tire left, its even got rims not too big tho, black leather seats this and that. it runs like a charm, i test drove it the day before yesturday and its like super quiet, i opened up the hood and the engine is soooo clean, he showed me a recipt from a toyota express lube and tune up, the oil has been changed almost every 5,000 miles, and he just changed the timing belt about 2 years ago at 80,000 miles. It got tinted windows, the only down side is the blemeshes it has on a rear bumper from backing up into things, I love it, do you think $5000 is worth for a '99 toyota that has 117,000 miles
