why does it say this?

I recently switched from the combo pack of pills to the mini pills, when I was reading all the info it comes with is says in big black bold print DO NOT TAKE THE 7 INACTIVE PILLS IN THE COMBO PACK BEFORE SWITCHING TO THE MINI PILL.
Why does it say that, they was no reason listed? I have all ready called my gyn but she has not called back yet. I was just wondering if anyone else was told the same thing and why?

Because it could affect the cycle for when you start the new pack.
