or is "darkness and light" like fish flavored toothpaste and green printer ink (having nothing to do with each other)

.... get out of your lives, and see more responsibility turned over to the state and local governments? Wouldn't that give us more control as citizens and a greater ability to determine where your tax dollars are being spent?

I decided to train for a 1/2 marathon a little over 7 weeks ago. I started out at 5'7" and 240lbs. (Yes, I am verymuch overweight, but I have an odd body type where I look like I am only slightly overweight! No one who knows me thinks I could weight anywhere near even 200lbs.) Anyway, I have not tried to "diet", but I also have not been eating anymore than I was before. I eat fairly healthy since I am feeding my family healthy foods.
Back to the training, I am up to speedwalking/jogging 3.1 miles a day (5k) and have been for about 2 weeks. I lift weights here and there, but mainly stick with the walking. My heart rate is usually between 135 and 160 for approximately 40 minutes during the main part of my workout. But....I have not lost ANY weight! It wasn't my goal to lose weight when I started, but expected a few pounds since I had not been moving much before I started this. I just think it is weird. I know you build muscle and that weighs more than fat...blah blah blah, but c'mon!!!

Reason for this is to see just how many astonomers, and astrologers, clearly know their field of work? Thank you, and please no jokes, this is serious guys!! as it depends on how some people can be fooled, which is a naughty thing! And to see how many of you in both groups of subjects, truly know what they say. Do not go to Wiki, either, as I will know! Thank you so much only the serious please!

Is it instructed that you will pick and choose the bits from the bible that you like and ignore those which you dont?
For example the bits where it says women should be obedient and wear head coverings in church, and where it says to sell all your worldly possessions,no one (or very few) listens to.
And you all seem to think that jesus claimed he was god in human form and that he said you can all do what you like from now on as your sins are all forgiven, claiming a new covenant.
Is this an instruction from a pastor or church elder when you join?
