His policies are flawed. He doesn't realize the dangers facing this country today. The GOP does.

I like Ron Paul because:

He is the only one that will restore the Constitution, and our civil liberties!

He has received more money form soldiers than any other candidate.

He is not a member of the C.F.R.

He is for abolishing the I.R.S.

He is for bringing our troops home

He is 100% pro-life

He has never or will ever vote to tax or regulate the internet

He has the best chance of beating Hillary. There are many conservatives that would not dream of voting for gun grabbing, baby killing, pro-snooping, Rudy. These people will end up voting for a 3rd party (or not voting at all) in a Rudy/Hillary race. This will ensure a victory for Hillary.

He will let me decide if I want to put my money in Social Insecurity or put it in an investment of my choice.

He is against the national ID card. (Wake up people, this national ID card is on our door steps. Soon, a US citizen will not be able to walk down the streets without "showing their papers")

He will cut government spending (I remember when Clinton ran against Bush and Perot. The reason why Perot got so many votes is because people were concerned about the national debt. Well, under Bush the national debt has already gone from about $5,000,000,000,000 to over $9,000,000,000,000! The average tax payer pays about $3,000 a year just to cover the interest on that debt! And it is only getting bigger!)

(to name just a few reasons)

The GOP understands as a collective that our money is going down the tubes? I think not. The GOP wants to "spread freedom around the world? No way. They say how we have helped all these Iraqi's, and this and that. Yet when they talk about muslims in general - of which the majority of Iraqi's are, they hate them and all the other "ragheads" (often their disingenuous supporters words, not mine). You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Ron Paul has some of the best insight into the REAL problems facing us, but since no one likes to admit any mistakes or problems, they dislike him. A few partisan Democrats don't like him because he would gut federal programs that they deem are necessary for society. I don't see why all these programs have to be a federal issue. A state can just as easily provide UHC, or pass marriage laws acceptable for the states residents. The federal government should be there to protect our rights, and to protect us from enemies and invaders, and our currency. They should be able to tax corporations to provide those services and a few other services I missed, and that's about it.

Ron Paul running for president has created the first election EVER for me, where I am eager to not only talk about my choice, but promote his views and go out and vote!

Hes quite possibly that once in a lifetime candidate who can fix major problems facing us because of years of Washington insiders lubricating the citizens rears.

There is an ABUNDANCE of his writings and views on line where you can research on your own any imaginable issue, while the rest of the candidates are still consulting lawyers and think tanks to help decide their own.

Ron Paul is a man of integrity, and for the first time, in a very long time, we can clearly see from Dr. Paul's congressional voting record, that he alone is "NOT" a bought and paid for politician, that is totally controlled by special interest groups.

I believe Ron Paul understands his elected role as a "Sovereign" Representative of a Sovereign country, and will fight to keep America's Sovereign status, when elected to President, until his last breath,,,,,And I Promise to support him!!!
Thank you.

I like him because he has demonstrated integrity. He advocates a philosophy that I respect - that government exists solely to protect the lives and property of individuals. He will work to reduce the burden of the federal government on me.
