This guy I have REALLY liked for a long time, he has never had a girlfriend or kissed a girl before. I know this is cheap, one night we flirted while we were drunk. He was only a little bit, I was alot more. My pals there knew I still liked him so they encouraged us and kept trying to make us touch each other, he kept subtlely trying to touch me and even asked me if I thought he was attractive. He held doors open for me and such. He left me 2 voicemails later one saying "I hope you got back to your room ok Ill see you or IM you" and he did he imed me the next morning and he kept asking me questions about how I was and my hangover and stuff. He also wrote on my Facebook wall. Hes never done any of these things before, I thought they were good signs, I was told a guy would never say those things if he didnt like you. Well, it was actually a couple of years ago. I had asked her out online, and a couple days later she sent someone to tell me no. Looking back I can see why she said no (I definitely wasn't the "coolest" guy), but now I don't know where I stand. She's nice to me wherever, or whenever we work together in class and stuff, we laugh a bit, but we don't really talk the way friends should, in or out of class. And now I'm beginning to feel like she could be interested in me, but I really don't know. I've thought over it a lot but I need some outside opinions. please answer

A recent question about changing asteroids' orbits is in line with my own thoughts lately. It seems to me that with enough advanced warning, an ion thruster could be landed on an asteroid and used to divert its orbit enough to take it out of harm's way.

Thinking of the reason that Pluto will never collide with Neptune, I thought that possibly inclining an asteroid's orbit might be easier than raising its apehelion above 1au.

Unfortunately, I don't know all the formulas involved so it's not a simple answer for me. Assuming diverting orbits of Neo's as a given, which would be better - increasing their energy to stay outside Earth's orbit, or inclining them off of the ecliptic so that there is no intersection.

Why does our society and the media so focusing on man size? You see in porn and male enhancement ad on TV and in magazine. The message said bigger is better. How many men feel the need to be bigger to be satisfied or you are happy with your size?

Have you ever thought that, well, if your dead on the money about God and he is really the way you say he is that many of us wouldn't want to go?

Check this out - Put the shoe on the other foot and thing about it for a second. What if the extreme Islamists are correct, that their God is real, and he's exactly the way he says he is - some wrathful, women must be kept down, non-believers must be destroyed angry angry angry deity?:

I have owned the truck for 6 months and its done this three times. Upon start-up (cold start), when the truck is placed in gear and accelerator pressed it does not move right away. The rpms will increase but the truck will not respond immediately. After a few seonds, you can feel the transmission drop in, but the acceleration is really slow. It will act this way until you shut the truck off, high rpms on take-off with low acceleration (almost sound like when someone is riding the clutch on a manual transmission). Then at highway speeds it seems to not want to shift into overdrive.(this morning 3300 rpms at speeds that normally have 2100) The check engine light does come on, but when the truck is turned off and restarted the problem clears. I do have an appointment to take in it, but I fear them not finding anything.

I would like some advice/second opinions...
Whenever I order out from Applebee's, Ruby Tuesday or a similar restaurant, I feel compelled to tip the person who bags my meal and provides the silverware. Yet, when I pick up a pizza, I never feel as though I should tip the counter person.
This is relatively the same situation - had I dined in the restaurant, I would tip, no question. Had I asked to have my pizza delivered, I would tip, again - no question.
Has anyone else run into this problem? Do you know iof a "rule of thumb" about this issue?

I adopted a dog from the animal shelter and about an hour after I got him home he escaped through my front door. He is very scared and if anyone gets near him he runs away. I gave up the search when it got too dark to see, and now I don't know what's going to happen to him. He is roaming around base somewhere and I am not sure if anyone is going to be able to catch him if they find him. What should I do?
