"Israel's defence minister has approved sanctions against Gaza, including cuts in the supply of electricity and fuel to try to halt rocket attacks.
Ehud Barak authorised the cuts, which are expected to follow immediately after rocket attacks are launched.

Palestinian leaders say the measure amounts to collective punishment.

Israel supplies 60% of the electricity for Gaza's 1.5 million inhabitants - but last month Israel declared Gaza a "hostile entity".

By formally declaring Gaza "hostile", Israel argues it is no longer bound by international law governing the administration of occupied territory to supply utilities to the civilian population.

I have a really big wide screen HDTV but the downside of it is that when everyone's in bed I'd like to turn the tv all the way down and read the captions. I can't get the captions to work on this HDTV I've tried all different settings(C1, C2, T1, T2) none work.

The other regular tvs, CC works on those but not on HDTV why is that?

Obviously you do not agree with them, but just because a person does not agree with an argument does not mean that they cannot think it is a compelling one.

I am asking this because I am an atheist and I wanted to hear your personal thoughts on how well thought out particular arguments are and if they have given you something to think about.

My friend has scabies and she has had them for about 1 month and half, supposedly. And i havent talked to her in 3 weeks. Although I was with her the 3 weeks previous. And my friends have been around her for the whole 6 weeks. I am very scared that her having scabies is going to lead to me. So, what are the chances I might get it? I dont even know because I dont talk to her anymore but its possible I could still get it right? What if i dont right now, how can i make it so i dont get it in the next couple of weeks until she knows for sure if it was scabies or not?

Ok we did an experiment on agglutination, whereby rabbits had been immunized with sheep red blood cells. We measured the agglutination titres of immune and non immune sera.

During the experiment we set up control wells, containing 0.2ml dilution buffer and 0.2ml cell suspension. The result was negative. But what is the purpose of the control wells, what does this prove? And how would I write this in my report? Thanku, just really stuck on this bit..xx

My period, which is usually on time, is 4 days late. There is no reason it shouldn't be on time and I am not stressed out. I didn't even begin to suspect pregnancy until the day after my period was due. I decided to take a test this morning. I used E.P.T. The one with either a + or - sign. I know the test worked correctly as the window filled with color like it should have and the control line appeared right away.

This issue is, within the first few seconds the second line appeared making the + but it was very faint. Then a few seconds later the line disappeared. I know for a fact that it was there. I know they say a positive no matter how faint should be considered a positive but what about when it disappears a few seconds later?

I'm confused and unsure how to interpret this test? What do you think??

Actually I think this is true under a less rigid assumption. I think the conclusion remains true if, instead of full differentiabilty on I, we assume the existence of the Dini derivatives, that is, suppose that, for every x of I, f is differentiable at least at x+ or x-, not necessarily at both.

My mother is flying to San Fran. To go sailing with an old friend. She has never been sailing nor has she ever been to Cal. She will be there next week and is unsure what to pack. Some one asked me this question at school, because im a Yankee Fan and the Red Sox are in the Playoffs and they said are you going to Start to Become a Red Sox Fan and Jump On the Wagon, i Said HELL NO

Also ,Is Being a Bandwagon Fan a person who is a Fan but are not of the State or city where the Team is from ex. The Red Sox and Yankees , They Have a large Fan Base Many People moved from NY or Boston but where born there and are still fans , but Many other People including my self im a Yankee not close from from new york and other Fans from other teams in the Same Postion are the Bandwagons ????

I got married last year and since I came back from India everything started to change than than when my husband got here things were as I thought it would be but still I was trying to our marriage out but from past three weeks thing are just getting worse and worse..He has been fighting with me and also lying that he is at work but his always out partying with his cousins and thier girlfriends and then just yesterday he calls me and said that he wants a divorce so he get his freedom and also he is not ready for the resposibility yet becuz he wants to enjoy his life in USA....and maybe after 2 or 3 yrs he might think about our marriage n all..Just to all the people who r going to give their advise he hasn't stayed with me from the day he has arrived in America...Pliz help me figure out what can I do..
