In my younger years, I played and saw the horrendous after effects this had caused. In return, I too suffered as the victim to this act.
Is it a forgivable offence?

When a woman have her tube tied...what is the word called when a man have this procedure done so he cannot produce anymore children? Is it still possible he can get a woman pregnant? If so, how long will she noticed that she may be pregnant. Can she get pregnant right after her cycle? Or 3days during ovulating.....Many responders....

I attended/organized a baby shower for my boss yesterday. I was told to arrange it at a very nice restuarant. It included a salad, main course with two sides, and a dessert, coffee, soda, water service (and favors) Everyone from the entire office (about 30 people) were invited to attend. It was at noon, and afterwards the executive director kindly gave everyone the rest of the day off. This morning I have heard several times how unhappy some employees are that there was no open bar. The meal was at least $30 a person which doesn't include tips, or a fee for renting out a room. Since I didn't deal with the bill (the executive director did) I don't know what the total cost was, but I know it was a lot, especially after all the decorations and flowers were totalled up. I work at a small nonprofit organization, and the organization surely footed the bill. Do I have a reason to be upset that people complained about no open bar?

my daugher is 4 years old and started kindergarten this year,,,all is going good,,,except one day the school guidence counsolur contacted me say that my daughter was caught self stimulating,,,i was shocked,,i did notice a few time at home and i explained to her that she shouldnt be doing that,,,,now im a mess,,not knowing what to do,,,can any one help me,,what should i say to her to make her stop doing this especially in school,,,please help

My boyfriend and I moved across the country 4 months ago for his job. Last week, he attacked me (for the first time) and was arrested for domestic assault. I immediately moved everything out of our house, have not been contacted by him, and will not be going back to "fix" our relationship.

I have a great job here, but we live in a small town and I don't have any real friends here yet. I have been avoiding going out and have trouble sleeping because I am worried he will find me and try to hurt me again. There is a possibility he will lose his job if he is found guilty in court, which could make him even angrier.

My family and close friends are afraid for my safety and are begging me to leave town My commitment to my boss/career is the only thing keeping me here. I feel very overwhelmed and alone. I need an objective perspective--is it too extreme to quit my job and move away after only a few months to feel "safe" and be closer to loved ones?

if your ex wanted you back (which i hear happens a lot) did it make you want them if they were all crying, begging you to come back and so forth or did it make you want them more if they really showed you absolutely no attention at all and totally went on with their life not even contacting you. Now i know a lot of people could care less so this is a question for the folks that separated and ended up getting back together really.

during cold weather my knee, dislocates, swells up, or the knee will float. i'm 18 years old...this has been happening to me since i was very young. i have been doing excercises, and biking, taking pills, but nothing is working. i really need to know whats going on with me and what i can do to fix this problem. my chiropractor had said that it might be because of the growth spurts i've been having but those have stopped. i'm scared to walk, and to ride my bike after my knee feels better. i've done the ice and rest, i've done the soaking in warm water...nothing is helping, i weigh 155, i'm 5'7 i'm not over weight....theres something else. please someone tell me whats wrong with my knee, and what i have to do to fix it.

Nothing to do last night, so I went to a meeting of people against a LNG terminal going in near their house. The ship might contain as much energy as a small nuclear bomb, but it won't all go off at once since it needs oxygen to burn and its expansion rate is 1/10 the rate of a fission reaction. It could also be said a coal train (or a pencil eraser, if transformed to pure energy) has the power of a nuclear bomb, but obviously it isn't going to blow up like one.
The same concept holds true for the GW dilema. The vast majority of the people on earth aren't going to die from higher temperatures. Also, the government isn't going to tax us so much the economy fails and we will all have to live in caves

I've got both DVD sets, but there's nothing that I didn't see in the theather. It says unrated, and uncut, and I even had to show ID to get them, but like I said, nothing I didn't see in the theathers. What gives?

Our tradition which I believe started with my husband's older sister......... We put an old shower curtain on the floor, baby in the high chair and give them a chocolate cupcake or piece of cake chocolate w/a little icing. Then we photograph the mess and give the pictures to everyone. One yr. olds have such fun, they wear more of the cake than they eat!
