I did the Tin Man one year. Made the costume from grey vinyl fabric purchased from WalMart's craft department, cut it out and assembled with duct tape. I drew the bolts with a Sharpie marker, spray painted a pair of old shoes silver and wore a funnel on my head. It was a great costume, but the silver makeup had my face broken out for over a week and it itched!

I did Oz for four straight years. First the Wicked Witch, then Scarecrow, Tinman, and Cowardly Lion. Had a ball. This year I am being an old swamp voodoo woman. I am making the voodoo doll like my boss. Ha!

I have a few. I was a witch in 4th grade. I went all out and had the green face paint and the nose and everything. It was so funny!

A couple years ago, I was a cowgirl. I found a skirt in a thrift store and borrowed an old denim shirt and boots from my dad and put my hair in pig tails. Thrift store costumes rock!

I made a stellar genie costume one year. It was pink. I think it looked great without being too slutty.
