I am surprised how many believe they should keep the ten commandments.

Would you please explain then how you are required to 'keep' the conditions of a covenant law you were never a party to, and where said covenant came to an end? Doesn't anyone understand Paul in Romans 7 where he uses a marriage covenant to explain this? Do you not understand what happens when either party to a covenant dies?

It's in everyone's best self interest to be ethical and to do the right thing for the highest good, but why should we be ethical? whats in it for us? if others are not practicing good morals then why should we? Besides "getting into heaven" and being good in God's eyes, how does it directly effect our LIVES?

The Legislative branch is the only branch of the government elected by the people. The Executive branch has the President and Vice President elected by electors, then the remainder of the branch appointed by the President (with confirmation by the Senate). And the Judicial branch is also appointed by the President (with confirmation by the Senate).

Does this sound like a "Democracy" to you? If you think it does, please explain.

we are insured and our insurance said to claim and they will get money off neigbours insurance company..only prob is our premium will go up and we will have to pay 100 ecsess..they said this is how it works.our neigbour came round tonight and said her insurance said they will pay out! is my insurance company trying to con me?? someone help!!

If a man is paying child support, isn't that money for the child?
Why would an ex-wife then ask to pay the husband to pay for even more stuff? Isn't she supposed to manage the money the ex-husband gives her plus spend some of her own on the child?
Example: Man pays child support and the ex-wife calls up the ex-husband to pay for years books and school supplies and uniforms.

I'm nearing 30 years old and my heart feels in shambles. Everything I say seems to be just an excuse and I don't know how to fix things. I have no friends outside of two people whom I love dearly in my family... it seems I have given up most everything I cared about doing/cared about due to depression.

My abusive ex is now happily married with two kids and I cannot even keep a relationship together for longer than nine months. I may be pregnant (life threatening), but my boyfriend and I fight all the time about his new job (a girl causing problems for us there).

I almost died earlier this year and due to that + anxiety disorder and depression, I'm not working.

I have run out of money and can't take care of my bills... if I wasn't living with my mother, I'd most likely be in an institution or on the streets.

I have no idea how to get my life back on track. I'm afraid I'll end up hurting myself. How do people pull themselves back from the brink?

The guy i used to like last year has been showing me more attentions than usual for the past two days.He seems to like teasing me & keeps saying things like "I want to play with your mind" (not straightforwardly,but in a round-abt way).Today as I was leaving the same room he was in,I overheard one of his friends say "too bad A,she's leaving".He even suggested that he thinks that I deserve to be in the prefects' list instead of my best friend(who's really good at that stuff).

I am just confused as to what he wants from me after all this time.Is he just playing with me or does he really want to get together?
