My father wanted a boy but he had me instead. My entire life he's told everyone that me and my mom were worthless parasites that he had to support, and he'd tell me to learn how to cook because that's all I'd ever do when I grew up. One year when I was 12 or so he gave the paperboy 20 dollars for christmas, but didnt get me anything. We had a family friend move in with us for a few years and she had a son a year older than me. My father spent time with him constantly but ignored me. I wasnt born a male, thats not my fault. I'm 24 now, almost 25, and I still feel that he doesnt love me..what can I do to make him love me. All i ever wanted growing up was a father.

On November 5, 2007, ALL Ron Paul supporters are supposedly going to donate $100 each. sort of like a "V for Ron Paul" day.....which is taken from the movie "V for Vendetta."

This idea has been spread all across the Internet and note that I did not come up with this idea, but I did make a YouTube video on the topic.

My questions is, will this be as successful as I and others hope, or will it be a big flop when it comes time to for people to put their money where their mouth is?

I am working on a novel right now, in a medieval type setting. I have grown up on Harry Potter, and have a deep love for the classics: Beowulf, The Odyssey, and The Iliad. This, mixed with a longtime near obsession with Tolkien, has made me want to write a novel in the vein of fantasy. I have most of the story written, but I have run into a problem. In my story there is an evil race of subhuman monsters (I know, very original) that appeared hundreds of years ago, and were fought off only through sheer determination and the sacrifice of a great king. The creatures are described as six to eight feet tall, and muscular, with two great horns curling from their foreheads, like those of a ram. This description is workable, and will probably be changed. They came from the east in huge ships made of black wood, if that helps. What would this race of evil creatures be called? I do not want to use a name taken by another writer, so they cannot be called Orcs or any of the other mainstream evils.

When it comes to talking to people on the phone I get extremely shy and nervous. Now I have to call to get my senior pictures taken, and I have to call to start drivers ed, but I CANNOT get past the nervousness...
I can just barely order pizza on the phone...
see what happens is, I get so nervous that I can't process what they're saying, so even if I hear, what's your phone number, I can't understand what they're saying...
And I also get nervous because sometimes it's hard for me to hear people on the phone so I always have to say "what?" and make them repeat themselves every other sentence and I feel like I'm stupid...

So how can I get past this?
I really need help soon because I have to schedule pics soon...
And even if I don't get past it, I'll still get it done, but I want to feel comfortable doing it...

but the weird thing is... I'm not this shy in person...

My face seems to get irritated when I shave with a Mach3, or any straight razor. I have used an electric for almost a year now daily, and was wondering if I could bring that to boot camp my recruiter was iffy about it. Hopefully someone who has recently been to Lackland can HELP!!!
