its happened that 10 out of 60 teams have come back to win a series down 3-1. You played well when you had to, Cleveland is a young and inexperienced team, kudos to the Red Sox for winning. chokers no. we lost 3 in a row..it happens all the time during a season and the playoffs. I am proud of the Indians, and yes I wish we had won but we didnt. Thats baseball. Its another sad day for Indians fans but we also know that we will have won at the end of the yr that we won the second most games for 2007 counting reg season and playoffs...and that everyone will be returning that is vital and that they are still a very young team. I feel sorrow but no shame

I do agree that cleveland fans were getting a little too full of themselves when they were up 3-1 especially againt the RED SOX of all teams, but that dude was right, the METS are the biggest chokers this year and the YANKEES are the BIGGEST chokers in the history of sports! The TRIBE was just not a good enough team to beat the SOX but they were better than everyone else in the AL and that's no bull$hit!

Yup its true. No matter how u slice it. If you lose a 3-1 lead. You choked! Period! Not just in baseball but ANY sport. The biggest choke job of all time belongs to the Yankees. The Mets really screwed themselves but oh well. Remember when the A's were up 2-0 and still lost. That was a choke. Let's be real people. Denial is not just a river in Egypt. And what does payroll have to to do with this. The Rockies are near the bottom of the league in Payroll. But they didn't choke when it counted.

That is a great thing to say it is ture they choke and whoever said FOX paid Cleavend to lose is wrong because the MLB would find that already a penlize the Cleveand Indians severly. All the Cleavend Fans better luck Next time

No choke, the fix was in. MLB and Fox didn't want the WS ratings to drop if it was a Cleveland - Colorado series. That's why the scores in the last few days were so lop-sided. Cleveland were told to lose and Fox paid them off.

No, the ultimate chokers were the 04 Yankees, and the Mets of this year.

The Indians had a great year, you shouldn't bash them because of this collapse.

Dear Red Sox Nation. Ignore this idiot. The Tribe is great team with a great coach and with great fans. They got out played by our Sox who are tremendous. The tribe didn't choke. they just got beat. They should proud of a great season and their future is ahead of them.

A long way to go? We were 27 outs away from the world series. and playing against a team who's salary was about 6 times ours, i think they did alright. You paid two times as much for one pitcher as we did for our entire team.
