I am an alcoholic in recovery with 3 yrs sober in Feb. My fiance and I are great but she is a bit of a flirt and likes to drink. I have let her know I can't have booze in the house, and she has reluctantly agreed. Although it took some time. She is constantly talking about how she still wants to lead a "wild" lifestyle and fells like being with me is kind of a burden. On the other hand, I am ready to settle down with the right woman and start a family. I love her to death but our differences are becoming more obvious. I know she loves me and I love her. Any ideas?

I feel alone a lot....
Im a 15 year old guy, and i dont have any real close friends of my own. I have been a loner most of my life, and i hang out with my brother (14 months older) and a lot of his friends. One one of his friends actually cares for me and treats me like her real friend, and im greatful for her. At school i am normal, i get a long with everyone but i cant really call anyone my real friend.
I havnt really had a best friend of my own since around 2nd grade. I just feel alone a lot because i dont have anyone to talk to when i am feeling down, or go out and have fun with. I feel like my brothers friends just see me as "his brother" and not really a friend. I dont really know why im asking this, or why im on here. I guess its because i dont know where else to go to tell how i feel...

If I am just barely filing for divorce and a friend of a friend asked me to hang out, is it too soon to go with him? He just asked me to go to a Haunted house with him. If my divorce is just starting and not finalized yet, is it too soon to start having some fun?

Which one do YOU like better. I'm a classic rock girl all the way. I hate modern rock. I've listened to it a lot and I just don't like it. I love classic. I love the Beatles (my favorite band ever), the Doors, the Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane and much more. All of the music I like is from the 60-80's.

I'm dying hot pink streaks into my blonde (not natural... bleached) hair on Wednesday (I'm going to a music festival in New Orleans and I want to do something crazy to my hair). I will be washing my hair every day (like I normally do) so I know the color will fade some. I work at a place where we're not supposed to have unnatural hair colors and I need it to be gone or almost gone before I get back to work the day after Halloween. Any suggestions on how to do this w/o completely destroying my hair?

ok. I have been dating this guy on and off for a while. The only reason why we are on and off so much because he lives in a different state and i can only see him on the holidays when he comes down here to visit his mom and brother. I love him sooooo much and he says he loves me, and i do believe it really is love. I know 16 is young and all to love someone. Last night we were on the phone and he said he was gonna marry me someday, and he was gonna ask me to marry him next time i saw him. He said we didn't have to get married too soon. We could wait a while. But my question is what should I do...? I've seen girls my age get married exactly at 16. Their marriage is working out fine. I don't know how to break it to my mom how much i care for him && that i want to marry him. Its all a big blur. I don't know!!! Someone help me.

I know this is a book, but please read. I have been feeling so anxious. This has been going on for so long now, but I have to ask because I just don't know what else to do. My heart races for no reason. My hands feel clammy. I think about a thousand things that I have to do. I feel like I can't do things fast enough. I am nervous. I also can't sit still. Like I am always doing something even if it is just fidgeting while on the computer. I hate this feeling. The only meds that I am on are Lexapro and Buspar for anxiety and depression, but I was like this even before I started taking them. I haven't been falling asleep at night too well either. I just so badly want to relax and slow my mind down. I have a hard time focusing and concentrating too. I intend on speaking with my psyciatrist about this, but for now any idea what this is?

Someone that I know currently has gingivitis on his mandibular central incisors. His gingiva have recessed and are rolled and there is marginal reddness present (only on these two teeth). I know that he needs to go to the dentist to have the plaque removed, but he is currently in the middle of getting new dental insurance and it's not an option for at least for a few weeks.
I've advised him to floss and pay special attention to brushing more often.
He has an orthodontic retainer on the back of these teeth, which has caused him to shy away from flossing these teeth as often as he should due to having to use a bridge threader. When I had him floss with a bridge threader, it was almost impossible to get it through his gingiva. When it did go through, his gingivia bled profusely.
What can I tell him to purchase, that is over the counter, to help treat this until he can make it to the dentist? Is this disease able to be cured completely at home if he's persistant with flossing & brushing
