I am an alcoholic in recovery with 3 yrs sober in Feb. My fiance and I are great but she is a bit of a flirt and likes to drink. I have let her know I can't have booze in the house, and she has reluctantly agreed. Although it took some time. She is constantly talking about how she still wants to lead a "wild" lifestyle and fells like being with me is kind of a burden. On the other hand, I am ready to settle down with the right woman and start a family. I love her to death but our differences are becoming more obvious. I know she loves me and I love her. Any ideas?

You can love someone but let them go, because thats the best thing to do. Sounds like thats what you need to do.

You are ready to setle down but she wants wild life style Simply put you are heading north and she is heading south . Theres no way you can meet each others Yes it will be hard but get out of the relationship and dont have the feelings you had been together all those yrs for nothing She had been put in your life for a reason , I am sure you learn somthing from her but now its time to move on It will take you lots of courage but it has to be done Luck

you sound like you're in different places in your lives, you want to settle down but she's still a party girl and if you get married she'll probably resent you for taking it away from her. it doesn't sound like she really wants to have a family now either

if I were you i'd at least postpone the marriage
sometimes people really do love eachother but it just can't work out because they're too different

Marriage is serious. You should not have any doubt. You should break it off.
