I have many times asked whether, in our neighborhood, the amputee down the street, Mr. Farber, will get a new leg if everybody fervently pray for him.

On this question it seems that Christians and Atheists agree: In effect, you can pray til you're blue in the face, and he'll never get a new leg.

Question: Is this maybe the beginning of common ground that I have long sought in my heart and soul? The beginning, just a small beginning, of common ground, between our atheist citizens and our christian citizens?

Oh please dear imaginary God say yes!

am not objecting to Christians enjoying the priviledges of modern technology. What I object to are the self-righteous morons who claim to be ~exceptionally~ loyal to the bible, but will not sell some of their luxuries to help other people. Idiots like Westboro, for instance, who wage God's "war" on gays. If they were soooo commited to God's word, then they won't need computers, lots of clothes etc to do this when the riches of heaven are far better.

Anyone agree?

Hi, I am a student studying finance and have a few questions that I need your help to understand.

According to my book, it says
"The payment for government bonds is deposited in a bank which then has larger customer deposits but more importantly it has an equal increase in reserves."

What I can't understand is that How can payment for government bonds be deposit? Even if it does, then

Why does it cause an equal increase in reserves??

Would you explain this please?
I am looking forward to having helpful answers from you.
Thanks!

I know for fact my husband loves me & we still love each other's company since we've been married 8 years now. The concern is past these 8 years, he works on and off; he is now 33 years old and has been sitting at home for almost about 6 months each year. During his unemployment time I am expected to pay all his bills, gas & food. I`m 32 years old; very insecure about my future; I cannot think of having a baby until my husband works seriously. I work very hard & stretch myself to pay mortgage bills & to run both our lives. I`m now stressed out...nothing has changed in 8 years with this man? What should I do...he keeps asking for more time. Shall I give him another year? or should I give up? Please advise!
