what can the doctors find out from a blood test?
can they find out if you smoke, drink etc. even if you haven't done it for a week?
if so, will they tell my parents, or just say nothing?

Yes, these kind of things can be detected from blood tests, but depending on the duristriction of your state/county/country, the hyppocratic oath denounces the release of information that isnt between the Doctor or Patient, even If you are a minor. If you dont want your parents knowing the Results, tell the doctor that.

Good Luck Explaining to your parents why they arent allowed to know the results though...

A blood test will reveal any abnormalities for diseases such as STD and test for illegal drug use. Whether, the Drs will tell your parents is another story altogehr. They will, if you are a minor. Otherwise, not as all Drs are bound by the confidentiality clause.

If you're a minor, they will most likely tell your parents the result since it's your parents paying for the check up. :[ sorry.
