Yes from the time I wake up in the morning until the time i go to bed I stare into my cats eyes.

Yes, my cat Ginger...I swear she's in love with me or something...she follows me everywhere in the house, she sits next to me when I'm on the computer *pats her on the head* & she just sits there & stares at me! So every now & then, I stare back , which leads to a staring contest....
She always wins *sigh

The only cats eyes i stared into was Puss in boots, he's so cute. It worked for me too. Shrek is not alone.

You can't state them down, you'll always blink or look away first. However with dogs you should never do more than perhaps glance at their eyes, direct eye contact is an intimidation mechanism. Wolves and dogs use it to un-nerve each other and usually attack.

No, I've been told you're not supposed to because it makes them unsure and then they may attack. It's better to respect animals and keep a little bit of distance, especially cats. They're so unpredictable.

And they like it, they start purring and going the kneading thing with their paws on me. They LOVE people! And I've raised them since birth. I'm a good kitty raiser xD

when i used to own a cat yes i did. i wanted to see what she would do. i stare into my chihuahuas' eyes...those feisty little things creep me out. =}

I like the way the glow in the dark... just before you run over them. Don't actually like to run over them but. It makes a smelly mess on the car.
