My mom just recently recovered from pnemonia and a couple other things while she was in the hospital. The doctor had her on way too many medications and it made her go into a coma, she was in ICU for a month and on life support for 3 weeks. She had a lot of fluid in her lungs and a bowl infection (TIM). Anyways she finaly recovered, lost 75-80 pounds, is continuing to loose it, a lot of age spots cleared up, and her hair got a lot thicker and fuller. She looks like shes in her early 30's again (shes only 47). Well she was always depressed before she got sick and would never go on dates. She always said things like, "no man would ever want me." Now she is feeling better, looking better, and just better in general & I think she should start dating again. Im not sure but I think her confidence is down and she still feels fat (shes not anymore). So my question is, how could I get her out of the house to meet new guys. Our town is pretty small and most people find dates at bars,

I have taken karate for ten years and am currently a brown belt, so I posess strong kicks. I am 5'11 128 pounds and go to the gym three times a week so am quite strong (Have six-pack and other defined muscles), and can beat some people who weight 170 pounds in arm wrestles. What fighting style should I approach someone who is also muscular, on the football team, is about two inches taller than me and weighs 50 more pounds.

Like evolve i mean.

Look at the Spanish conquistadors, they felt they could kill natives, take their gold, rape the women, and make slaves out of the rest and think its perfectly good with god.

Then look at the Inquisition, where innocent people could be tortured to death as long as blood was not drawn.

Or the hanging of blacks in the South during the KKK era.

But today's christians would not do these things. Maybe its because they re-read the 10 commandments and have a better intellect. This is definitely progress in the positive direction. Keep up.

I am unsure how to do these questions so I will pick one from each section to see how to do them please help.

value of h- each says the same thing which is For each of the folowing, draw a rough graph of y=x^2 and the given function to thow their relatonship.

1.y=(x+5)^2

2. Value of k. y+2=x^2


3. The last section on this practice sheet says for each of the following
- describe the graph in relation to the basic quadratic function y=x^2
-draw a rough graph, including the basic function

(y-2)= (Y+3)^2

A guy goes over to his friend's house, rings the bell. The wife answers.

"Hi, Sara, is Tony home?"

"No, Chris, he went to the store."

"Well, you mind if I wait?"

"No, come in."

They sit down and after a few minutes, the friend says "You know Sara, you have the greatest breasts I have ever seen. I'd give you a hundred bucks if I could just see one." Sara thinks about this for a second and figures what the hell -- a hundred bucks. She opens her robe and shows one. He promptly thanks her and throws a 100 dollar bill on the table.

They sit there a while longer and Chris says, "I've just got to see the both of them. I'll give you another 100 bucks if I could see the both of them together."

Sara thinks about this and says what the hell opens her robe and gives Chris a nice long look. Chris thanks her and throws another 100 bucks on the table, then says he can't wait any longer for Tony and leaves.

A while later Tony arrives home and his wife says "You know, your weird friend Chris came over."

Tony thinks about this for a second and says "Well, did he drop off the 200 bucks he owes me?"
