For coverage of news in Waimea/Kamuela, I suggest you peruse both the Hawai'i Tribune Herald (Hilo) and the West Hawai'i Today (Kona) newspapers. They report the news for both the Kona and Hilo sides of Hawai'i Island. News information about Waimea/Kamuela appears in West Hawai'i Today, but it is good to also check the Herald. The Honolulu Advertiser and Star Bulletin are good supplements but they tend to focus on news on O'ahu.
