I have the moonsand all over my house. I think I like the old playdoh better!

Either works, depends on the child's age. BUT a big help would be, but a 4'x4' sq.tarp, put it under the surface the child.person, parents! Less Stress and Less Mess! Join!, and underneath atleast their knees to midcalf or the front atleast 6" of the seat. I had 2 boys, I think every relative gave them Playdoh growing, I adapted, they grew creative and artists. The new stuff is what the grandkids want, but I won't give it as a gift, not without a tarp or even a plastic tablecloth for the floor, just dump the pieces in the trash, or with PlayDoh, snapit out the door, it disappears in the rain, but it doesn't rain in Southern?,lol, California,lol, just popped in my head,(better than the last question that did)! It really works and the user can help you fold it so it dumps, it hardens like PlayDoh, so it'll go into the can eay or out the door quicker! I think the other stuff, I heard in the store from a shopper buying more, use an ice cube on it, dampen it, it'll come up.

Playdoh! I even play with it sometimes, and I am 24 yrs old! That moonsand is wayyy too messy!

Oh for sure... moonsand spreads like no other!! It is fun to play with though, but it doesn't come in all of the awesome colors like play-doh.
I pick play-doh!
