Krishna, Buddha, Plato, Jesus, Augustine, Kant and many others insisted that there are two realities. One is temporary, material, phenomenological, apparent or of the forms. The other is permanent, spiritual and lies beyond this one.

Those who claimed the validity of this idea have never proven the existence of two realities. They asserted that we can only choose between believing or not believing, but that to really know the spiritual reality one must die. Does that make logical sense to you? Could these famous people be wrong? Knowing that ideas, no matter who thinks them up, are not automatically true, what method do we have at our disposal to test these concepts and see if they are true or false? Does logical thinking have any validity? Do we really have no other way, but die?

They are small specs that I can grind into powder in my fingers. They don't appear to be mixing into my water (like soap or salt or some other saturation). They are coming out of my kitchen sink faucet, though my wife says she's seen them come out of the tub faucet, too.

1. What could it be?
2. Will I die if I injest it?

Thanks!

I have posted a question about my cat and was wondering what these are as someone has mentioned them in their answer. And if anyone is from Australia do we call it something else here or do we not have any known cases of it like rabies?

I'm a little behind with the whole Turkey issue. What has been going on lately that has impacted US relations with Turkey? Are the secularists or Muslims in control now? And this past week, what has been the deal with Turkey's military actions in Iraq or with Iraq?

Thorough answers please. And preferably backed up with a few websites. Thanks!

And does a similar result hold for the number (F(n))^1/2

Now this is a question for everyone that has divorced parents .If you could go back in time and show your parents how you turned out and what would have made it better what would you say .Basically theres 3 options

get back with dad/mom the fights are better than 2 households

Just date if you marry so and so you and I will regret it for the rest of our lives but feel obligated to stay

Its ok I turned out fine ?

You can have your hymen torn, without ever having sex. A tampon, or even riding on a bicycle they say can do it. I would still consider that person a virgin, even though their hymen has been torn.

So to me, a torn hymen is only a sign that one MAY not be a virgin. It is not the definition of one who is not a virgin. Am I wrong?

We talk about whether men are "virgins" or not - and obviously, the hymen has nothing to do with them! So with a man, he is a virgin if he has never had sex. Why should it be different for a woman?

Does masturbation (with insertion of a toy or whatever) mean you're not a virgin?

And, why is this so confusing?! Why isn't there just one defintion, without all this confusion?

I told my husband tonight that I am ready to have our last baby. We have decided that we want one more. And I have been on birthcontrol for 5 months now and it is not good to me. I get bad headaches and I loose my hair and they have switched me time and time again over the years. My body just doesn't do well with birth control.
I do want to get my tubes tied after we have our last baby. However, I can't handle the borth control and he will not wear a condom. So I figure let's have the last one call it a day so I can get my tubes tied.
I stay on the borth control because I don't want to have an oops child and neither of us wanting to have a baby at that time. And we have gon with with using natural family planning in the past but I have little one's now and it is hard to chart with three little ones.
Our youngest is 9 months old right now. He says he is not ready he doesn't feel financially set for another.
So what should I do? I don't want to pressure him.
