I'm doing a debate on Marco Polo for both Affirmative and Negative side. Affirmative for supporting the fact that Marco Polo actually exists. Whereas Negative where he does not. Could someone give me evidence and points for both sides.

Loyalty to George W. Bush? Or health care for millions of children? In a crucial vote on Thursday, that's the choice that Republican members of Congress will have to make.
There's nothing complicated about this. George W. Bush is the last man standing in the way of children getting the health care they need. And he can be pushed out of the way with 15 more Republican votes.
But, it won't be easy. These lock-step Republicans have lined up with one failed Bush policy after another. They'd rather break the hearts of children and their families than break with Bush.
Please no republican talking points about how this only helps adults or only helps rich kids, if that were true you republicans would be supporting it and bush would have signed it into law since he LOVES helping rich people.

My 4 1/2 month old cat was spayed a week ago. Everything has been fine, she seems to feel fine and has pretty much returned to her normal activity. My only concern is that her scar from the surgery pokes out a little bit. It's about the size of an oval nickel, and sticks out . Is this normal?

JWs ask a question are they the true religion and then get 24 people from their assembly to vote and say they are. then cut the question off before the 3 days are up so that no negative votes can be counted or entered. marks of a cult.
I challenge them to tell me what Revelation 2:8 means and what is Jesus meaning when He refers to Himself as Alpha and Omega, the first and the Last? WAS DEAD AND IS ALIVE> Also Rev 21:6; Rev 22:13,14 and Rev 22:16. I look forward to your twisting and spiritual gymnastics on this one.

I've been considering getting my PHD and teaching at the college level. I've noticed a lot of credible colleges (those who also have a strong offline presence) offering online MBA programs but does anyone know of colleges (not just with a online presence) offerring online PHD programs?

I have worked for an organization more than twenty years.
I would like to know how to respond in writing to not getting a promotion
for which I believe I was qualified.
Please don't answer if you want to insult me?
Not all employers are fair and if that is your position don't bother to answer.
The job I hold is significant and I appreciate it.
My goal is not to critic my employer. If you don't have the ability to answer in a sensitive v and helpful manner don't answer.
This is not a "sour grapes"

A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day, only
to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner.

"Good morning," said the young man. "If I could take a couple
of minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners."

"Go away!" said the old lady. "I haven't got any money!", "I'm
broke!" and she proceeded to close the door.

Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door
and pushed wide open. "Don't be too hasty!" he said. "Not until you have at least seen my demonstration." And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure on to her hallway carpet.

"If this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this
horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder.

The old lady stepped back and said, "Well I hope you've got a
damned good appetite, because they cut off my electricity a hour ago!!!"

My pet turtles are growing and while I am saving up for a custom built tank they need more swimming space. They are currently in a 20 gallon tank, half filled (need space for basking site and lamp), and I'd like to find a container at least twice that for now, but I have very little money to spare. I have a small living room and this is the only room with space available.

I'm trying to think creatively for a soloution.

What are your feelings on this ? Just heard on the news that a lady in New York called the police & reported a little six year old girl for using chalk on the sidewalk,(you know how little ones love to do that). Well, the police told the mother if she didn't wash it off she would be charged $350.00 for a grafitti law they have there. How sad!!!!!

A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak. After mass he asked the monsignor how he had done. The monsignor replied, " When I am worried about getting nervous on the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If I start to get nervous, I take a sip." So next Sunday he took the monsignor's advice. At the beginning of the sermon, he got nervous and took a drink. He proceeded to talk up a storm. Upon his return to his office after the mass, he found the following note on the door:
1) Sip the vodka, don't gulp.
2) There are 10 commandments, not 12.
3) There are 12 disciples, not 10.
4) Jesus was consecrated, not constipated.
5) Jacob wagered his donkey, he did not bet his a*s.
6) We do not refer to Jesus Christ as the late J.C.
7) The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are not referred to as Daddy, Junior and the spook.
8) David slew Goliath, he did not kick the s**t out of him.
