Depending upon which superstitious cult that you follow Christ (a Socialist of some 2000 years ago) may return tomorrow or the day after.

Maybe in five or fifty years time...

For reference:
The Maya are probably the best-known of the classical civilisations of Mesoamerica. Mayan history starts in the Yucatan around 2600 B.C., Mayan history rose to prominence around A.D. 250 in present-day southern Mexico, Guatemala, western Honduras, El Salvador, and northern Belize.
This dates the Maya before the beginning of the human race if you believe the Creationists and their "intelligent design".

Your choice.

Were the Mayans Christian? I've never heard of that before. We shall just have to wait and see, won't we?
BTW I belonged to a cult for many years and every now and again some clever clogs would tell us that on this date Christ would return. People would sell their houses and give the money to the poor (why?), refuse dental treatment, give up their pensions, etc etc.
And now we're all older and wiser. And poorer. And some of us have died because we refused medial treatment and some of us have no teeth.
Never ever believe anyone who can give you a date. Live your life as though Christ will return tomorrow, be good to all, and it won't make any difference whatsoever.

The mayans say that on december 21 2012 all time will cease to exist as we now know it , which doesn't necessarily mean that's the day Christ will return to earth. NO-ONE knows when Christ will return to earth except God himself.

I wasn't aware that the Mayans ever worshipped Christ, or were even aware of him. Much less be able to predict the date of his return. There are numerous theories around that the world as we know it will end in 2012. I don't believe any of them.

1 Thessalonians 5:2
For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.

Nobody knows. I have a relative that has given dates so many times and continues to do it. Makes him look like a fool and a bad witness. As Ceaser said just be ready. He could come tomorrow.
