"....According to the Tannaïte Rabbis, MOSES therefore had ordered the Israelites to kill all women older than three years and a day, because they were [virgins and] "suitable for having sexual relations." [138]...."

Under God's direction, Moses' army defeats the Midianites. They kill all the adult males, but take the women and children captive as sex slaves. When Moses learns that they left some alive, he angrily says: "Have you saved all the women alive? Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the female children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." So they went back and did as Moses instructed, killing everyone except for the virgins. In this way they got 32,000 virgins . ----(Numbers 31:1-54)

"While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was discovered gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Those who caught him at it brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly. But they kept him in custody, for there was no clear decision as to what should be done with him.

Then the Lord said to Moses, "This man shall be put to death; let the whole community stone him outside the camp."

So the whole community led him outside the camp and stoned him to death as the Lord had commanded Moses." Numbers 15:32-36 NAB

My wife and I are fighting right now. I was doing a favour for a friend yesterday evening, trying to clear her computer of virus/spyware etc, and i ended up spending the evening working on it. My wife got angry and went kind of crazy, claiming i don't spend time with her (she watched tv while i worked on the computer). We practically spend all of our time together and i don't spend time with anybody other than her. She has really hurt me with some of the things she said last night, she dug up old resolved arguments, but can't give me any proof of what exactly i'm doing wrong, apart from being a genuine person helping other people out whenever I can, i.e. she wants the 100%! Before last Saturday, I'd say we were the happiest couple on earth, but since she spent time with a friend of hers who is having relationship trouble, it's like she has caught something! We were always romantic and passionate (we're married 6 months) but that has ended abruptly, what the hell is going on, help me!

As recent scholarship has shown, both Protestants and secularists, from the sixteenth century to the present, have wildly exaggerated the evils of the Inquisition in order to further their own ends, creating straw demons of Inquisitors and popes alike. Sadly, these errors have been repeated so often that they have become “facts.”
Although such exaggerations have made “facts” from fiction, there is some truth about abuses that Catholics must admit. Unrepentant men found guilty of heresy were handed over to the State for punishment, even though Church authorities did not always agree with the punishments inflicted. We must realize that in handing over the condemned heretic to the secular power, the Church knowingly was handing over the condemned for punishments ranging from imprisonment to burning at the stake.

As some probably know, I was having the whole Navy/ Air Force delima. Well I have made my decision to the Navy, based on facts, statistics, and of course, more importantly, my own personal reasons. My friend is going in also, and for human resources. We were told the A School for human resources located in Athens, GA. Is that true? Also, will she most likely get more shore or sea time?

OK, I want to Snowboard, and have some experience. My son wants to learn snowboarding. My wife and daughter have never skiied, and want to learn tradational style. We are going to have lessons before we go. We plan to take a week (out of school tut tut) possibly in Februrary , and this rules out USA/ Canada cos of the travel time. We also want to have options to do other non-skiing stuff should the mood take us, as to be honest the Wife and daughter are not that keen really.

So given the above, where would you recommend?

I have been to Andorra and am worried it might lack snow again. I fancy Grenada/ Spain, but have heard nothing of the snow quality or risk of having no Snow, or of the quality of the infrastructure.

All comments welcome.

I don't mean to be gross, but here goes: My new tattoo (48 hours old) on the top of my foot is oozing slightly (not alot at all) in one or two places. Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong? I've been following the artists instructions for after-care, but he didn't have me using any antibacterial ointment afterwards. I've been gently washing the tatto with luke-warm water about 3x a day and putting scent-free, petrolium jelly-free lotion on it afterwards. Yesterday, I had to wear boots and socks for about 2.5 hours, so maybe its' irritated 'cuz of that... The area surrounding the tatto isn't swollen or inflamed, but feels sortof stiff and hurts a little bit when I walk. Also, I've been wearing open-top shoes for the past two days to avoid fading. Sorry for all of the detail. I want to make sure you have enough info to help me out.

04 Grand Prix GT; all services done on time and are up to date; warranty is expired; it usually won't start when it's really hot outside or when it's been raining; when I start it, the motor will kind of try to rev up but then turn off.

I am trying to potty train my two year old boys (2). One of them is trying and showing great interest, while the other one is not. I'm not trying to force him in any way, I just ask him if he wants to go and if he says no I let it go.

My question - I won't leave my one son alone while I take the other to the bathroom for the potty. Sometimes this means leaving a meal two or three times and while the one not potty training is very good natured about it now, today at breakfast he was upset and kept reaching for his food saying "more, more" and trying to shove it in his mouth before he had to go.

I'm wondering what others have done in this situation. I'm not looking for potty training advice in general, just some suggestions that worked when you potty trained your twins or multiples.

Help! I want to keep it a positive experience for both boys and I don't want my other son to start feeling bad that he's making his brother cry or something.

You most know what my situation is, and since splitting is not easy, I thought I would find him a room so he can move out. Am I doing the right thing, or should I let him do it?

I have always done everything for him, so that is why I am asking if its the right thing to do. After all, I want him to be as happy as possible since I am trying to make the break-up as amicable as it can be.

Will this allow him to move on? or is he going to feel I am pushing him out?

I am so sick of all the lil teeny boppers using extreme shorthand when typing on places like this. I love using shorthand when I'm texting, but why use shorthand when you have a whole keyboard in front of you? (And I know shorthand isn't reserved just for teeny boppers -- I have 30yr old friends who email me in shorthand like it's a text. Ahhhh! :o)
