Little Johnny was sitting on a park bench munching on one candy bar after another. After the sixth one a man on the bench across from him said, "Son, you know eating all that candy isn't good for you. It will give you acne, rot your teeth, make you fat."
Little Johnny replied, "My grandfather lived to be 107 years old."
The man asked, "Did your grandfather eat 6 candy bars at a time?"
Little Johnny answered, "No, he minded his own business!"

I recently turned 30 and started a new medication. As a result of one or the other, I have gained about 15 pounds. It doesn't sound like a lot, but it really shows on my tiny frame! And it's all fat, so it looks bad. My days of fast metabolism and eating what I want are over :(
I want to exercise as well as watch what I eat, but I don't know where to start. I'd like an all over toned body, but the area where I gained most of the weight is in the tummy and hip area. What exercises can I do? And can you please explain what they are, or give me links to websites? I've never exercised, and I am ashamed to admit that if you tell me to do "lunges," I won't know what you're talking about...
Thanks!

My husband owns a home with his father. On the original deed is- My husband, his father and his ex wife. On the mortgage is my husband and his father (not the ex wife)
My husband got the house when he divorced his ex wife.
He lived in it for about 2 years after the divorce was final then when we decided to get married we wanted to sell it. When we put the for sale sign up his ex asked if she could buy it. We were in a hurry to move and said yes. We let her and the children move in under the conditions (verbal agreement) that she would secure her own financing. My husband signed a quit claim deed to her. His father did not. The quit claim deed was notarized but it was NOT filed. Now she is requesting that he sign another quit claim to her, I think because she lost the first one and it didn't have all the right info on it. We have been trying to get her to finance it for a year and she still hasn't. We are now weighing our legal options...what are they?

We live in a three bedroom house with my mum and dad, my older brother of 22 has much more in common with my 16 year old brother, they both like computer games and get on better. Me and my younger brother do not get on, constantly arguing. I dont like him, he never does anything for me, and im constantly letting him of, he also makes the room a mess. when I cant stand it.

My older brothers room is a state so it would make sense for them to share a room. But as hes the oldest he has the room, my younger brother complained when i mentioned this, but my older brother understands and would move.

My question is am i being unfair on my older brother? what would you do? where do I stand on this situation. I see it becoming a big problem.

A mafioso's son is sitting at his desk, writing a Christmas list to Jesus. First he writes, "Dear Baby Jesus, I have been a good boy the whole year, so I want a new..." He looks at it, then crumples it up into a ball and throws it away.

He gets out a new piece of paper and writes again, "Dear Baby Jesus, I have been a good boy for most of the year, so I want a new..." He again looks at it with disgust and throws it away.

Then he gets an idea. He goes into his mother's room, takes a statue of the Virgin Mary, puts it in the closet, and locks the door. He takes another piece of paper and writes, "Dear Baby Jesus. If you ever want to see your mother again..."

The country of Norway was rated as the most peaceful country in the world in a 2007 survey by Global Peace Index. [9] A 2005 Gallup Poll found that 72% of the people of Norway are Atheist or Agnostic, and only 10% of the people of Norway are Christians. Why do we Americans seem to think that we need a magic deity to give us morals?

Seniors, do any of you listen to electronica music. As in Trance, Techno, Dance? I hear the crickets already.LOL.
I ask because I do, and a senior I personally know does likewise. We exchange CD's to listen too.
