I guess that's just something that I never really gained an appreciation for. But it's great that you are able to enjoy that kind of music.
Although, I do love Buddy Holly & the Crickets. But,I never thought of them as deafening . . .

Sorry, even if I were a senior, I wouldn't listen to Techno- it's all just noise to me... along with heavy metal, rap (especially the vulgarity).....
I prefer music with a tune to it.. and if it has words, I like to be able to understand the words, and not blush... or hope no children are hearing it.

I don't know any seniors who listen to techno, and I'm not a senior myself just yet. When I am, though, I'll be the one still head-banging to Metallica!

I'm not familiar with this music. I think it's good though that there are so many different kinds of music. It gives us a lot to chose from and it's great we can each listen to what we like.

No, I don't care for it but I think music is music and it's great if you like it . I like a lot of the music my grandaughter listens to but not rap. I have even got her singing some of the new country music I like to listen to,like Leanne Rimes , Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler.

Crickets aren't bad, but my preference is listening to the whipperwill call and coyote howl in the back field in the evening hours.

I do sometimes when it comes on the radio and I can't be bothered to change the channel.
Most of the tunes are just rock redone with synthesizers anyway.
