Scooby did so much more for society - all those mysteries solved and munchies munched! Astro - whatever. I want my dog to be a hippie stoner.

Scooby doo. He is just a big, goofy, loveable dog. What do either dogs contribute to society? They are just cartoons. Everybody loves Scooby.

Astro: he is futuristic dog...smarter than scoobie who is always looking for a treat. What type of guard dog can scoobie be if he is afraid of his own shadow. Astro was an is the better of the two. As far as society contributions...COME ON they are make believe....the only thing they can contribute to is to helping us pass the time.

Scooby Doo. I grew up watching him, I dont even remember if I even watched Astro.
"Shag" and "Scoob" running off to get snacks all the time.. why they didnt weigh 300lbs each is beyond me. lol

Scooby Doo, hands down. He solved crimes and stuff...Astro didn't do crap for the world.

Astro - he had some kind of flying device. Scooby flew too, but only in his mind when he was stoned with Shaggy.

definitely scooby...i mean he helps solve mysteries all the time, and all astro does is make george get stuck on the space treadmill.
