SMC is a business just like AMWAY and all the others who build upon the work of people who believe they can get something for nothing. The people at the top get most of the money while you, who will be at the bottom, will do most of the work and get little of the rewards. You will have to work a long time and many hours to get all the promised "big bucks". While you are doing that, the ones at the top will be partying because all the "little" people like you whom they have lured in with empty promises will be supporting them while they don't have to do a thing but lure in more suckers.

SMC/World of Products is not a scam, it's a legitimate business. But I guess that depends on where you're coming from. If you had certain expectations that weren't met or perhaps didn't put in the work, you might not have gotten what you wanted out of it. I have many of their products in my own home! I have been a member for over 10 years and haven't had any problems with them. They had to expand their warehouse and now it's very close to where I live and I love that!

Like any business, your success depends on the amount of work you put into it and they make no guarantees as to how much money you will make.

It's not MLM like Amway and others. You DO NOT have to recruit or build a team in order to make money. All you have to do is sell the merchandise for their suggested retail or whatever you want to charge. You pay a wholesale or subwholesale price for the merchandise and your profit is the difference between what you pay and what you sell for.

You can join or you can work with a member. That's where the subwholesale comes in. There are different costs involved for full wholesale opps versus subwholesale. For full wholesale rights you have to join the company. I'm not sure what the full price is now but you can check it out and get info at http://smcorp.com. For subwholesale you work with a member where you buy from them at a subwholesale price and sell for retail. You can sell through catalogs, home parties, at flea markets, fund raising, etc. The member has the merchandise sent to you and you're responsible for delivery/shipping to your customers. Or in the case of flea markets, vendor fairs and those kinds of things, the member has the merchandise sent to you and you can then resell it at retail.

There are some who have made it an affiliate type of thing where you can get a commission and you direct people to their website or, like me, it's treated like your own business and you get all your profits. But you do have to have all the licenses and permits required by your state and/or city to conduct a business. And you do have to submit to those agencies whatever taxes or fees are required. You are an independent contractor.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. Now is a great time, because holiday shopping has started and the potential for making good money is there.

The SMC scam has been around for many, many years!
You buy from them and re-sell it.
