Can anyone think of any sayings that have an opposite saying? For example, " Too many cooks spoil the broth" and then we have "Many hands make light work" can you think of any more?
Just thought of another! "Out of sight , out of mind" and "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" , any more?

I came home and there was aticket on my car because someone had complained about it. (It was her dad) now i have to pay 30 bucks or go to court. He works at UPS how do I get him back? I could care less about the 30 bucks...but still.

It's probably impossible to picture, but the window is part of the dining room and part of the entryway/living room. The carpet is that old mottled beige/brown stuff from the eighties and the walls are off-white. Our couch is a sage/olivish green with beige trim around the edges of the pillows and the accent colour is red, with everything else being relatively earthy. No particular style...maybe slightly modern and slightly country?? I'm trying to decide if white curtains would look best to make it more open and airy, or if a darker colour (suggestions?) would look better to make it seems cozier. Opinions???

The front driver started fighting with words, both got into rage, and my friend, since there was no damage she left. the police want to put hit & run charges on my vehicle? there is no damage to my vehicle and the police wants my friends name and i told them I did not know who was driving my car, because I was out of town.

I'm just curious. Are there a lot of people out there who think that an animal's life is just as important as a human's life? I know we are all living species and deserve love and respect, but doesn't it stand to reason that a HUMAN should put HUMANS first?

Furthermore, I hear a lot of people say that they are more endeared to animals because animals are loyal, love unconditionally, don't leave you, etc. It makes me wonder if those people are closer to animals because they've been hurt in human relationships.

But I think that It is the very fact that humans are complex and unpredictable and that we have the capability to hurt one another that makes us unique. A relationship w/ a dog is simple, and therefore, can't be compared to the complex relationships we have with other humans. There is little risk to loving an animal, whereas there is great risk in loving a human.

I am open to hear from those who agree and those who disagree. All thoughts and opinions welcome. Thanks.

I have a customer who likes to talk religion/philosphy with me. I believe that Calvinism rests on the concept or preordination and reminds me of the philosphy of Locke & Hobbs. But need more information before discussing with him.

I'm sick today and I missed school today and I was sick all weekend. I think I have tonsillitis and the flu. Can someone help me determine what is wrong with me.

Symptoms:

Fever (102-103)
Severe sore throat
Severe headache
Nausea
Puked 2 times
Stomachache
Dizziness

And, I'm 13. My mom said she won't let me miss school tomorrow again but I still feel rotten. Do you think she should let me miss school tomorrow and what's wrong with me?

ALSO: don't yell at me for being on the computer cuz I am on my laptop in bed cuz I couldn't sleep.
