I'm sick today and I missed school today and I was sick all weekend. I think I have tonsillitis and the flu. Can someone help me determine what is wrong with me.
Symptoms:
Fever (102-103)
Severe sore throat
Severe headache
Nausea
Puked 2 times
Stomachache
Dizziness
And, I'm 13. My mom said she won't let me miss school tomorrow again but I still feel rotten. Do you think she should let me miss school tomorrow and what's wrong with me?
ALSO: don't yell at me for being on the computer cuz I am on my laptop in bed cuz I couldn't sleep.

nope haven't kissed any boys. My tonsil doesn't look like that though!

you do need to stay home, especially since you're running fever and sick to your stomach. You should probably see a doctor in case you have any infection.

It sounds like the flu to me. I sometimes run a fever of 104 with the flu. My mom always let me miss school if my fever was at least 100.

Your high fever rules out flu, which usually has a much lower fever. Although you might have a throat condition, your nausea and vomiting suggest an intestinal infection of either bacterial or viral origin. I suggest you get yourself to your family physician right away.

You probably have gastroenteritis. The sore throat was probably caused by the vomiting. See a doctor anyways, in case it's not.

If your school has any sense, they'll send you straight back home again if your mother makes you go tomorrow. You should really see a doctor.

You need to go to the doctor or emergency room. It could be tonsillitis or mono (kissed any boys lately / lol).

Do you have any white patches in your throat? If you do it's probably strep throat, if you don't, it's probably viral tonsilitis. Either way I suggest seeing your doctor.

u are right. u probably have BOTH tonsillitis and the flu.

check ur tonsil. if it is, u could die. this doesnt sound like something minor, especially with the puking. I suggest u see ur doctor immediately!
