My boyfriend and i signed the P.A., got approved for a mortgage on the home and set the closing date of the home to this Friday...I have $1,000 in earnest money towards the home..Friday we decided that we dont want to buy a place together and that we need to rent first and that we were jumping into something too fast. We tried to cancel but our agent said the sellers agent will not cancel the agreement and that if we aren't at closing they are going to sue. The home is an estate (i.e. they inherited it by their mother dying)..What can we expect to pay if we get sued? How can we get out of this? We are located in Minnesota! They haven't served us papers yet the sellers agent just said they are going to sue..so who for sure knows???

They run the captions at the top of the screen and they get all jumbled. Most networks only put the closed captions at the top while they are running the preshow credits, then move them to the bottom for the duration of the program.

Why does ABC do this? It cuts off the actors heads! lots of times, I don't know who is saying what line.

It seems like how many homeruns a player has is the first thing considered when determining how good a player is or who gets the MVP, ROY, etc. A lot of the top homerun hitters strike out a lot, which always seems to get over looked. A strike out does absolutely nothing for your team, yet no one seems to care. In the NL, I would take Albert Pujols over anyone, because even though may not hit the most homeruns, chances are if theres a runner on base, he'll advance them. For the record, Pujols has averaged 40 hr and 65ks a year for his career. How many other power hitters today who play mostly complete seasons have averaged close to that?

Could schizophrenia have anything to do with the fact that your brain is not done developping until the age of 25. Because is it a known fact that schizophrenia only develops after the age of 25. I saw a question about the brain ending it's formation at the age of 25, personality wise, so I was thinking, could it be related? Please only serious answers?!?

It seemed quite swollen to start but has gotten less over the last 2 days. The skin wasn't originally a different colour in the area but it a bit pink now? Could it have been caused by a bee sting or other bug? She was stung by a bee in the summer on her ear and her whole face got terribly swollen. Could it be a thyroid tumor even though it is now less swollen?

The Democrats, as a political party, made the choice to support slavery and oppose civil rights.

This continued well after the civil war with the party lobbying with the KKK to establish the House Un-American Activities Committee(HUAC, the "commie blacklisters") which was never abolished and only changed it's name to the House Judiciary Committee in the 70s.

In fact even as the party began shifting policies through the 40's and into the 60s the majority of Democrats still opposed the 1964 Civil Rights act.

Before anyone starts claiming "Southern Democrats" please remember that both New York State and California nearly seceded from the union to join the Confederacy and that Democrats in New York City protested the Civil War by lynching blacks from street lamps.
