Apparantly she's asked some others and they said no (most of the people she knows are single and working full time). If I dont take this dog, she will be going to the pound. And honestly, I wont be able to sleep at night wondering if she was euthanized or not.

Heres the thing, I have a 9 month old labrador retriever, I work from my home and financially am very capable, but, I know nothing about this breed. Can anyone give me some information? I've heard their similiar to labs personality wise but Ive never owned one.

My husband has 3 kids from a previouse marriage 2 girls 10 and 8, and a 13 year old son. The kids spend every other weekend at our house. My husband and I have a 2 year old son. Lately the 13 year old has been acting up (I know it's an age thing, I was 13 once too). When we ask him to help out around the house he looks us right in the eyes and tells us NO. When we get on him for that he mubbles under his breath at us. Last weekend I couldn't take it anymore and I lost it and told him in front of the other kids and his dad that if his attitude did not change he was no longer welcome in my house because I did not want the other kids learning his behavior, especially my 2 year old. I know it was harsh words but I didn't know what else to say or do because his father just seems to sit there and lets him do whatever he want. I also found out resently that their mother had told them that they did not need to do chorse while at my house because it was not their house. What do I do?

Its VAST, mostly plastic and scummy stuff like you would see in the corner of a lake and its caused by the swirling of the currents such as the gulf stream. I know its there but I cant find it.....

I know this book is borderline "new age metaphysical", but I found it really interesting. I know ascention isn't possible, but the ideas presented in it may be able to cast a new light on Christianity. Did anyone else read this book?

Also, I'm a Catholic and I didn't feel threatned by it. I thought it was quite insightful, if fanciful. Definitely not heretic. Any thoughts on this book?

Ok, I think I'm finally ready to move into competitive table tennis but am not sure what to do.
I'm going to buy a pips out attacker type of racket from Butterfly since I'm a forehand player with a lot of power and speed. But I need to know how to take care of my racket+ the basics like rubber replacement. How often do I have to replace my rubber, how to clean it, etc.
Also, how do I start playing competitively? I should be in a junior division so should I join a club which should teach me more skills and will help me improve and will then draw me in into tournaments?
I don't know what to do so any help would be appreciated.
