I'm sort of interested in becoming a Prosecutor. I'm currently in college freshman year and I need to know what kind of major will I need to become a Prosecutor.
P.S. How much do Prosecutors make?

You will need a Jurist Doctorate degree. 8 years of college.

Starting prosecutors make less than starting cops in some counties. They can go up over the years, but not much. These are government jobs. Unless you are in a city with a very high cost of living, they start at $38 to $55 K a year on average, depending on area as I said.

Most prosecutors are right out of college looking for experience until they are later picked up by a law firm.

Jerry C is correct. you need law school after you're done with your four year degree. You'll need to take the LSATs to get into Law School. Your LSAT score combined with your college GPA will be what the law schools use to decide if you get in or not.

Three years or so of law school and you can become a prosecutor.

$60,000 to start. You need law school to become a lawyer. Some law schools demand pre-law courses in undergrad and others don't. Vanderbilt just requires that you have taken calculus to demonstrate your capacity to think formally and intelligence..

You'll need a law degree -- which is 5 years of school after you get your undergrad, I believe. (Maybe only 3.)

I'd concentrate on political science.
