It's cause they are such bad tight asses their whole body conforms and tightens up and which in turn stiffens their uniform

The police officer in my family sends the uniforms to the cleaners. It may even be required. Lots of starch from the dry cleaners...................

Military use starch. Law Enforcement officers generally have the creases sewn in.

My husband is an officer,most times we take them to the cleaners. But if i do them I wash them dry them and startch them and iron them
