We've got about fifty stray cats roaming the neighborhood. Some of them have Ringworm. Is there anything that will kill that stuff permanently? My two cats go outside but they're old, lazy and fixed so they only go out the back door, sniff and go back inside. Twice now I've had to treat them both for Ringworm and I've NEVER had that problem. I bleached and scrubbed everything last time one of my cats got it. It just keeps coming back. How can I stop it? Two bouts with Ringworm have cost me $300.00 in vet bills and medication. Please tell me there is an easier way. Cat dipping is no small task and I almost needed a vet myself to stitch me up!

Clear Channel Communications did not ask Rush to apologize, as the letter demanded, and now Rush has the letter, and he's auctioning it off for charity, scholarships for children of Marines who died in combat. It's liberal BS for BS degrees for children of heros. Did the democrats lose this one?

So... I know I shouldn't really meddle but how do I respond?
Ever sinse she met the possible father of the baby she has practically forgotten who her friends are.
Do I support her choice (as I know she is against abortion), give my honest opinion (abort the opportunity preventing bunch of cells, you're young and you have things to do before such a commitment).
She doesn't really talk to us anymore. I'm not supportive of her silly relationship with this boy, he doesnt make her happy. But I have never been in one my self, and I always think with my head, giving harsh judgments. She, on the other hand, thinks with her heart and forgets the seriousness of situations.
How should I respond so I can let her know that I wont abandon her friendship?

Don't blame him, just because A-Rod do nothing in postseason. Don't blame him because his players aren't good enough to win the world series since 2000. He can't go out there in the field and do everything!!. I think George Steinbrenner should give him another opportunitty.

My cat just recently has started coming into my room everyday at 9:00 AM exactly. when he does that he screams at the top of his lungs and slaps at the mirror. most of the time i ignore him when he does that but then he starts to run around and clawing the floor. basically making as much noice as possible. when i kick him out of the room after that he will sit by the door digging at it and meowing loudly for about 20 mins. he is a deaf cat and nothing affects him. is there anything i can do to get him to stop doing this. he always has plently of food and water and my boyfriend normally stays up till 7 in the morning so i know he ain;t lonely.

I am 18. My BF is 16. The Age of Consent in NY is 17.

My question is "can I legally shower with him (no penetration of any kind) before he is 17?

What about sleeping together with no sex?

If you could provide any laws or summaries I would appreciate it. I just don't want to break any laws. Thanks.

My husband told my friend on more then one occasion he wanted to have sex with her. After he continued to tell her that, she confided in me. I confronted him and he admitted it and apologized. Of course he blamed the liquor but I know better then that, liquor has never made me hit on his friends. I am having a very hard time forgetting this and moving on and forgiving him. I do beleive he is sorry but again, I'm not an idiot, he got caught, had she not been the good friend she is, who knows where it may have led. This happened alomost a year ago and he has given me no reason not to trust him since then but I cannot let it go! I want to forgive and forget but I keep reliving it in my head and wondering "what if she said yes!" How can I get over this? Or since I can't seem to, is our relationship doomed? We have a 2 year old son, two stepsons (we've been together for 7 years, married for 3 of those). Any advice?

I have a 1.5 yo Bloodhound. Two weeks ago he started to itch like crazy and lick himself everywhere. I gave him a bath with medical shampoo. I also applied advantix on him. He didnt get better, so I took him to the vet. The doctor gave him a short and also gave some fleas control pills. It did help, but in 4 days he started to itch as much as he did before. He aslo has sores everywhere on his body.I talked to the vet again, they dont really know what to do,suggested to get another short, but if it didnt help the first time I dont see the point to do it again. My dog eats Purina Food,I wouldnt think its a food allergy because he's been on this food for a year.Doctor said it might be fleas allergie, but he doesnt have any fleas. I applied Advantix again but it didnt help.I dont really know what to do...I just cannot see my dog suffers like he is.If he continues scratching himself soon he want have any hair. Can anybody help?May be someone has the same problem and know how to treat it?

I'm catholic and I'm not asking to be judged or criticized for my question. I'm on birth control to regulate my period- if i don't take my BC i won't ovulate and therefore won't get my period and if I do get my period there is no rhyme or reason to my cycle it comes and goes without warning (all you ladies can appreciate how annoying and difficult that is) . Is taking my birth control still committing a sin?

I've been in a relationship with my now fiance' for 3 years. He has a 16 year old daughter and I have a 14 year old daughter. We've been trying to "blend" families this whole time. He and I get along well. As a matter of fact, other than "putting out fires" regarding the kids, we have never had an argument of our own.
His child has quite a few issues she's had to deal with since about 8 years old (ie. mother leaving, sister leaving, allergic to everything, asthma, can't fit in socially at school, not doing well in school, behavior problems, etc.). I've tried to be understanding, but ignoring is something I'm finding hard to do. He says she's "acting out"; I say those "acts" need to be discussed and handled. He says she's been through enough. She never gets disciplined for detentions at school, being arrested, foul language, etc. My daughter doesn't understand why she gets disciplined for the same thing we overlook regarding his daughter. I'm ready to just give up on us.

Qualifications for becoming a patent lawyer?
I am a freshman at UC Berkeley and I am on the pre-med track. I am currently majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Biochemistry. However, I have always considered becoming a patent lawyer. What are the qualifications? I know that one of them is to have a backround/undergraduate degree in science or engineering. Would a Molecular and Cell Biology major (with emphasis in Biochemistry) qualify for this? And what steps do I need to take? How many years of grad school and/or graduate school does it require? Thanks!!!
