I used to have a potty mouth, but I stopped myself because I felt like I was only doing that to get attention and be accepted by certain people. Now, I don't curse except for when I'm REALLY mad or pissed. (But I normally just mutter the words or think them in my head.)

I don't feel that cursing is a positive way of expressing one's self. I might slip up from time to time when I am by myself but I want people to view me as a dignified and refined individual so I don't generally curse in front of people.

i usually swear when im mad but sometimes i do it for attention, but im trying to stop swearing because it's not nice.
