My sister has obsessive thoughts/flashbacks, not about life threatening things like in PTSD. She'll remember some creep leering at her 4 years ago and ask why-can't keep such things out of her mind-like they're imprinted. She sees a therapist & psychiatrist for depression but hasn't mentioned her thinking style. Guys smile, give her the eye because she is "model" pretty, but humble, doesn't even wear make-up or think about looks. Her 2 sisters hate her cause she loves ballet & opera, not gangsta rap. They also hate her for being pretty. Parents don't have a clue, don't care. I tell her to tell the sisters (my sisters) to go F themselves. I've tried. It could only work if she tells them. She's too afraid, though. Any medication or advice or practice (meditation, writing, assertiveness training) that could help her? She's very shy; she only trusts me. She is being punished for being so good. We're a black family. There could be a culture aspect. If you know culture, you may understand

Did you elope?
As for me, my Dad passed away before my wedding. He had been the Minister who married my brother and he married my sister and her husband as well. Obviously, they had church weddings.

I chose not to have a church wedding and I invited only ten people. I simply did not want anything similar to my siblings as it would have surely, made me sad and wishing it were my Dad officiating my wedding! It was suppose to be a joyful day and so, I eliminated everything traditional!

Simple wedding, at my uncle's home who officiated my wedding....He was my Dad's favorite brother!

ok so i really like this boy at school but we are both pretty shy and i dont think he likes me as much as i like him but idk for sure...i no he doesnt like any other girl tho...we are just friends but since we are both shy we dont talk that much.

this weekend (sunday) we're both going 1 hr away to help some flood victims with our church group...we go to the same church youth group...and i was wondering should i talk to him about going out at all or just get to know him a lot more? cuz there would prolly be a few times we would be alone together doing something relating to the flooding tho
also we will be divided in groups...how can i get in his group w/out being the only girl and making it obvious that i like him? cuz idk if he'd like that or not

so seventh grade i liked rick a little bit. he was sweet, adn there for me, easy to flirt with. he made me kinda come out of my shell when i was getting over someone else.

then eighth grade, i kinda still liked "rick", but all this time he was like a sideline, fun to flirt with best guy friend, you know? we got to be even closer friends adn for a while, i thought he could be a good bf, but still wasnt sure if i liked him liek that or not.. and it also became apparent around this time that he liked one of my best friends. and though she was going out with "john", it was obvious to everyone she liked rick, too.

so i was like, yeah. go for rick, he's great for you. because to be honest i didnt liek him that badly. so she and rick got really close and he helped her out of a nasty relationship and then eventually they went out. just recently, however, they broke up.

and now picture, all along. that rick and i are talking, etc.
he tells me whats up, i give him girl advice...

Overweight people are putting themselves at risk of heart attack, high blood pressure, and diabetes. You can ask for forgiveness, however you will still be sinning until you put yourself into a healthier situation by losing weight.

I attend a predominant magnet school in Philadelphia and I was wondering if my 3.90 G.P.A. was good enough for me to even consider applying to colleges like UPenn, Colgate, and Carnegie Mellon. (I read somewhere online that a 3.9 G.P.A. was bad so thats why I wanted to know.) My cumulative grade point average is 3.90 out of 4.0 and my cumulative weighted average is 96.1. These are the from my 9th and 10th grade year. I'm in my junior year now and I'm trying really hard by taking mostly A.P. and honor courses. I would greatly appreciate it if someone would respond. I have been on methadone for spinal stenosis and DDD for about a month now. I am on a total of 55 mg per day and have vicodin (10/500's) for breakthrough pain. So far I have not had to use the vicodin but my doc said I could use it when I needed to. I feel like I am on a high dose of methadone and even though I got the go ahead I am worried about taking the vicodin along with it (I also take Soma as needed). I have having a bad day with my back and feel like I could really benefit from taking a vicodin. I took 2 Somas about 3 hours ago and it didnt help (I am allowed to take 1-2 up to 3 times per day as needed of the Soma). Is anyone on a dose of methadone similar to mine and taken vicodin or other pain meds for breakthrough? How did it make you feel? I dont want to feel to sedated or too out of it. And I dont want to worry about taking too much meds. Advice would be great! And btw...I do have a call into my doc office but they have yet to call me back.

I bought a new kitcken with Indesit fridge freezer and it worked fine, however everthing in the freezer has started defrosting and the fridge isnt cold at all.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

It led Deutsch to suggest that surely she couldn't mean that, and when she insisted she did, he said this sounded "anti-Semitic."

there's a Les Paul I want that sounds awesome but it's used, I didn't buy it then and there because I knew I wasn't going to give a proper assessment , especially being so excited for it..
